Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Never Says "I Love You" by buckeye(m): 4:40pm On Feb 24, 2006
Point blank, if she can't say it, she probably doesnt love u.

@whitelexi, trust me he cant judge her by not saying " I love you" what really matters is how she behaves, how caring she is ad all that. I can say I love u to a girl 15 times/second when i dont love her, saying that is the easiest thing that can be faked in a relationship.

i am not against it tho, at least i like to hear that as many times as possible from my partner , cuz it feels good.

Nairaland / General / Re: Friend Thinks Nigerians Are Too Bossy by buckeye(m): 4:10pm On Feb 24, 2006
yes I agree with you Seun, but her hatred for Nigerians is not only beacause of her Ex, also beacuse Nollywood is everywhere in Ghana and stuffs like that. She can help mend their friendship situation, but its gon be hard to help her get over her "nurosis-Nigerian-phobia"

BabyGee:

I feel you. Other people in this place regard all Nigerians as a threat. But from experience, I'll advice you to talk to your friend about it and let her tell you how she really feels about Nigerians. And she might be thinking that way because her exbf is a Nigerian and we never really knows what happened between both of them. You'll be surprised what she comes up with when you talk to her, there's no need for you to say sorry, just talk to her.Good luck

For me i dont think thats neccesary, because she was hurt by one individual doesnt mean she should think all nigerians are the same. i have many Ghananians as friend, and they all have attitude. The only reason i am able to cope with them is that i stand on my point, they either love it or hate it, there is no need for apology.

so it means one is not able to tell whether na human error or "na bad belle" deliberate/calculated attempt to deny/help another team.

In some cases, u can tell if it is "bad belle" officiating or a mistake, but we can't do nothing about it  becuase the refree's decision  is final, and that sucks.

but then again what will football be like if electronic devices is introduced into the game?

i think it would be great, i mean like to be able to watch the instant replay of any controversial action and make jugement based on the review, and not until after the game.

How do you think our under 21 lost to argentina last year? abegi bad officiating is a part of our loss to CIV and it shall remain till Jesus comes

true.

Akolawole:

I pity the Ivorians but if you want to see first class bad officiating, please recall Maroc '88 where Henry Nwosu scored a very very good but disallowed goal.
Camerounians and North africans always get assistance from Referees anyway.

Kola this is 2006, it shouldnt be compared to 18 years ago when african refs were not recognised in world football. what the hell are they getting trained for ?

this particular tournament has little or nothing to do with north africans or Cameroun...the same thing happened in the Nig/Ivory coast's game and others games like that.
