Politics / Re: Seek Diplomatic Resolution In Ogun FTZ Dispute, Gbenga Daniel Urges Tinubu by chaiks: 9:47am On Aug 18
You see why it is difficult to deal with nigerians when it comes to money and business. His words contradicts amount's and there is no record from his account on why the deal was terminated.
FreeStuffsNG:
He emphasised that, as of his handover in 2011, around 56 companies were at various stages of operation, construction, or interest in the Free Trade Zone. These efforts have led to significant development in the previously rural Igbesa area.
But his successor government stated that only a fence was built on the site by the Chinese firm.

This his statement absolutely contradicts everything the Amosun-led Exco stated and as a matter of fact, Senator Amosun just called the Chinese firm impostors! So who is lying?

EFCC and DSS must quiz everyone involved including the firm and anyone who is established to have broken the law must be prosecuted like FG did in the P&ID criminal case. For now, everyone's assumed innocent.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

Without security, how can the basic problem of hunger be tackled? I think we can now see the ripple effects of politicization of insecurity under buhari?

To tell you how serious our politicians take governance and government related matter, they abused the time frame to appeal the judgement. They thought because Nigeria is a country, any attitude they adopt will be covered by Nigeria being a sovereign nation. Secondly, why change the manage to manage the free trade zone?

Foreign Affairs / Re: Israeli Jets Strike Houthi Targets In Yemen In Response To Attacks, Military Say by chaiks: 2:50am On Jul 21
Why did the houthi attack Israel knowing fully well that there will be stiff reciprocal action strongly supported by the US? I think the radicalism and propensity to stir up violence on the part of these organisations is the cause of restiveness in that region. After they receive it hot due to their poor strategic calculation, they will begin to cry victim. However, I implore the next US president to review the events in that region holistically and visit the fundamentals.

Which team did PO have that ruled Nigeria that Soyinka evaluated before making his assertion. Compare how active he was during Jonathan time and the current situation now and know who should be criticized. If I were PO, I will even keep quite. Wishing him hbd or not is not available ye most important challenge in Nigeria currently. Nigerians like praise singers.

Sukhoi company needs to investigate what is wrong with its operating chain, be it materials used, model, or technical default on the part of engineers and pilots. This is not the first nor second case. If they really want to make progress into manufacture and sale of aircrafts like Boeing, these kind of incidents should be arrested.

Hello good day. Please I have few questions to ask with respect to the schorlarhip.

1. Is the funding enough to sustain beneficiaries throughout the program, especially if they are not working.

2. Does the schorlarhip also give room for beneficiaries to work while schooling?
which of the funding? The MEXT scholarship is fully funded and can sustain you while you have the right to work. The American TA for me is not enough.

Thank you. I have been thinking about the options honestly. In California, it's another masters and rent is almost the money I will be paid for TA. But in Japan, three years boom, PhD is done. Thanks for your input.

Honestly, try Asian countries especially Japan and South Korea . Then applying for direct PhD in USA is another good option.

I almost secured a fully funded scholarship at UK having gotten the admission but lose out on the sponsor.

Apart from the UK scholarship, I have applied for like 9 different scholarships but couldn't succeed in any.

Any motivation for me? Because I don't loose hope in any scholarship like this.

First time was October 10, 2022. I was traveling to Japan, Tokyo precisely to do my masters having won the Japanese MEXT scholarship. It was an all-expenses paid trip. I took off from Abuja via Turkish airways by 11 pm in the night direct to Istanbul (about 6:30min) flight. When we were undergoing check at the Abuja airport, it was like as if it's a film. I could remember all the scholarship rejections I have been getting since finishing nysc in 2015, including the construction sites in Onitsha where I used to do labour work despite being the best graduating student of my cohort. Everything seemed like a movie when after the check, we kept on being told to move from one location to another to wait for flight time. While seating down with other travellers, I was full of thanksgiving in my mind, and I knew it was just grace. When I entered the plane, my god, I nearly cried. But the multitude of people coming in made me realise it's a normal thing. I sat beside the window with one guy travelling to Turkey with his father. When the plane moved, I didn't know that it was going up in the air untill the whole buildings begin to look so tiny while I looked down. I said in my mind good bye naija. I remembered my mother, my brother and friends who probably will be waiting for the morning to set out for hustling. As the plane kept on moving, the beautiful air hostess began to move something and my guy told me they will be serving us food. I laughed and was so happy. I ate all the things and said yest when the air hostess asked if I still care for more drink. Suddenly we began to see only clouds. We got to Istanbul very early in the morning. I laid over for 17 hrs before boarding from Istanbul to Tokyo. While in the Turkish airport, I was hopping from one restaurant to another, trying to finish 100usd I brought out from the money with me but it refused to finish. When we finally set off to Tokyo, they served us food twice. It was a long journey and while people beside me slept many times, I was awake and watching the clouds. I saw from the small screen places we have crossed and getting to(Bhutan, Azerbaijan, South Korea, china etc) when we finally landed in Tokyo, I nearly shout seeing the magnificence if the Haneda airport. I began to remember all those who ruled Nigeria and the depth of wickedness in them. At the airport, I also went through thorough check being a Nigerian. They told me to empty all the food stuffs and clothes. I gladly did and was eager to do more for them. They finished their checking and thanked me for cooperating with them. They asked if I want work permit. I said yes and they directed me to an office where I got it immediately. I slept in the airport instead of wasting money lodging hotel since Tokyo is one of the safest cities. In the morning, I asked for direction and followed instructions on how to get to my school via train. I got to my school around 10:30 in the morning. The student exchange division received me and said they have been expecting my arrival. They led me to my room in the school dorm. I began to thank God and remembered all the experiences I went through in Nigeria.
Right now, I am in the process of finishing my masters and have been admitted for PhD in same school and scholarship. Also, I got another masters admission and scholarship in California and now, am confused as to which choice to follow.
May God bless the effort of every Nigerian trying to become better in life.

Politics / Re: Local Refineries: Why Crisis Over Crude Supply Will Persist by chaiks: 3:40pm On Jul 06
The major problem here posing a challenge is the loan collected which amounts to 14.6 billion USD today. Where did buhari government invested the Lian in and who and who are on the negotiation table when the terms were discussed? Nigeria is too smart to fall to this kind of agreement if not for the hesitation to share money to thieves.

Sometimes when think of marriage, fear will enter my body because almost majority of women have teared eye very well. If you are good and principled man in Nigeria now, I am afraid it looks like you are a novice because the calibre if men that have done things with the girl you are pleasing or trying to woo for marriage is astonishing. However, if kayode is with the children, I advise him to take them and conduct a holistic DNA test. It's baffling if Mrs kayode had to even know the pastor in the first place.

The thing is that there should a level balance, we gain they gain...its a business meant to make profit, if it doesn't favour them, they would ignore it and go elsewhere... remember nor be only you get resources.
sure. Total have been gaining in Nigeria for more than fifty years. I understand the six billion dollars would have contributed to our economy. But let's continue to retool our government gradually. I personally feel that what the president need to do most are;
1. Stamp out insecurity asap so that farmers all over Nigeria can return to the farm. Unfortunately, politics and religious inclination are posing serious threat to that.
2. Introduce a system of metering oil produced daily, aggressively look for strategies to end oil theft and increase our production to 2m BPD.
3. Remove the fuel subsidy entirely and match that up with constant public updating amount generated and how they were spent.

Then, with the dangote refinery coming on stream by late June, we should be preparing to have good Xmas celebration this year despite the challenges.
Politics / Re: Total Snubs Nigeria; Invests $600m In Congo by chaiks: 4:24pm On May 25
If you ask me, the way this total manager spoke when in a session with aliko the other time shows that he is not comfortable with the terms Nigeria laud for them. It's not only about inconsistent policies. Corporate social responsibility is strong in Nigeria especially in Niger Delta. Can't you see him say during the interview that a country really needs to outline it's aims in relation to environmental risks which are bound to happen because in oil operation, you can't escape it. What were the inconsistent policies? I am not denying Nigeria is totally healthy for business. But I feel Nigerian government is gradually coming to terms with the need to maximize benefit for the country in all these business deals especially when it comes to resource extraction. You can see that also in the new mining act which says all raw materials will be processed in Nigeria.

Black people don't understand Asians. We are too playful and easily take things on the surface level. Majority of Nigerians are easy to throw themselves to friendship with other races without understanding their perception of us. Honestly, I don't know why we behave so. Only those who lived in Asia will understand me.

Romance / Re: “We Want To Marry Nigerians!” - Say Ugandans (vid) by chaiks: 9:36pm On May 16
Nigerians always mistook everything for love without critical reasoning. You think at the mention of Nigeria, that idea of biggest in Africa will overshadow these girls. Fyi, east Africans hate Nigerians very well, Uganda inclusive. They are just looking for a way to hook our men down and then level allegation of drug peddling or internet scam on them so that they can take our properties because these are crimes Nigerians are notorious of. You better put your manhood inside your boxers and develope yourselves. When you want to marry, be patient and search for a very good Nigerian girl, from your ethnicity and marry so that you will live in peace. I live in Asia with Africans and can feel how Africans hate Nigerians. Worst is that if they are in problem, they will run to me for solution or help. But they still hate you. I understood this and I internally look down and silently disregard those haters.
