Career / Re: Is Business Analysis A Good Course Or Career To Venture Into As A Post Graduate. by julimaxy: 9:32pm On Sep 04, 2021 |
Business Analysis (BA) is a good career path and its advancing into Business Architecture. BAs are on a very high demand in all countries due to the big change the impact of COVID brought to us. Firstly you need to be sure that BA is the kind of career you want to venture into. I would suggest not going to the Uni to study BA as a course, instead find all these BA trainers and register with them, learn and write the certification courses, (If you are in the UK, its best to go with the BCS BA certification exams, and if you are in any other country go for the IIBA BA exams). Try learning from youtube as well, to learn bits on stakeholder engagement, SQL coding (its on demand these days), BA tools and techniques, etc. 1 Like |

There is NOW community transmission, it is that simple. In my view, the lockdown should have taken place from this month, not when the virus was brought from outside. 1 Like |

Abbeylanre15: You should have grassed them straight up in the first instance, instead of warning them. Now they may be planning on how to get rid of you. I would suggest that you tell the woman. If you are too scared to report, you can give anonymous tip (although you have already warned them, so they will know who the informant is). All the best 1 Like |

What you do not know is that it is usually those white women they marry/date that mostly get them the connection needed for all these high paying jobs such as sports and politics, take a look at Mo Farah, Priti Patel, and Sajid Javid If not white women they marry/date route, they must have been born in white-dominated area and networked with white classmates and friends that their father/mother is well connected. Another way is, their or Wife's parents or grand parents must have invested a lot in the white man's land, e.g. owning companies and paying lots of tax or from a royal family, that is when they consider foreigners, take a look at the current Chancellor of Exchequer, Rishi Sunak. Our people are easily groomed into sports and the easiest connection for them is dating/marrying a white woman, cos they make it so difficult for black people to excel in their land. Career / Re: My Bitter Experience Doing A Security Guard Job by julimaxy: 12:44pm On May 20, 2020 |
I have noted that any job that is well underpaid in Nigeria, people tend to undermine people that do those jobs. Also as labour is very cheap in Nigeria, that is why jobs as security guard, nursing, mechanic, carers (which is an ESSENTIAL job) are downplayed. From being a security, you can grow your own security company and employ people, it is all about using you opportunity now to network, cos you have more chances to network with the owners of the company. I know someone, who studied up to PHD level, used to be a security guard and now owns his security firm. You can do anything in this world only if you want to, but the most important thing is NEVER give in to what people say or think about what you do or who you are. PERIOD 5 Likes |
Family / Re: Husband And Wife Fight Over $300 In Front Of Their Young Children by julimaxy: 3:54pm On May 12, 2020 |
The quarrel had begun before the man started the recording. The recording will not do anything for the man though, as it is clear that when the woman pointed at him, he first pushed her and threatened to slap her, that is assault; he also threatened to hit her many times in the video, and the wife dared him to hit her by moving towards him and telling him that he was just looking her trouble. The man was calling her a liar as well; the woman was asking “what is $300?”, and said that she had CS but the man is inconsiderate. The man told the boy to hand over the belt, (maybe he wanted to use it on the woman or not), that’s why the woman rushed the boy to collect the belt. My advice to the man, this video should not even be entered into court as evidence for anything, cos he threatened to hit the woman and he did assault the woman twice. That’s enough for the woman to get whatever she wants. |

I would suggest that you run ALL possible tests including STDs and other tests to check that you don't have any "non-STD" infection or organ failure. Try and re-test for HIV in another hospital. I have heard of a case where one had to test up to 5 times before being diagnosed. Best of luck |

Travel / Re: Israelis Being Evacuated To Israel From Nigeria (Video) by julimaxy: 11:34pm On Mar 30, 2020 |
My take: All the countries are coming to Africa to evacuate their citizens, because they believe if they, who are well equipped are hit hard by the virus, then Africa will not be able to handle it. This is because they regard African countries as under developed and ill equipped to handle such crisis. But I believe that if we cooperate with the government, by following instructions and keeping up with personal hygiene. This will not overwhelm the hospitals and NCDC hotline unnecessarily. We also need to continue to enlighten the masses, especially those who do not have access to e-information, TV, or radio. We will surprise them. Now the question is how possible is this, cos a lot people do believe that this virus is a fluke and/or that the virus does not harm Africans. |

I'm in Scotland atm, I still go to work every day. Noone is panicking for their lives. Anyway they are not really particular about dying than we Nigerians. The only scare for them is the isolation cos they are used to outdoor activities. The vaccines are being tested at the moment and it will come out faster than we think. 1 Like |

They need to know that One does not have to show symptoms of the Corona virus before it can become infectious. That is why the virus is difficult to control unlike SARS. SARS was easier to control cos it becomes infectious once the symptoms begin to show. One of the best ways to contain this virus in my view, is to stop the entry of people from the high risk areas such as East Asian countries, Italy and Iran. This in turn will have a negative impact on the already spiralling world economy. This is why most countries choose to contain the virus than to stop travels. Another way is to advise people to try boost their immune system by eating healthy and making sure they have their five a day. As there is potentially no confirmed treatment/drugs so far until possibly next year; I believe people with strong immune system can easily fight off the virus once contracted. Finally I believe people in warm areas like Africa and India will contain the spread of this virus easily than most other countries, because such viruses usually come out to play in winter time, and most of the countries, like the UK, China, Europe are still experiencing winter until possibly April. These are my personal views though. |

Firstly,You ONLY have to go back to your home country when your current leave to remain expires and you do not wish to apply to other visa routes. Secondly, there are currently other visa routes, the main thing is planning way ahead of time in meeting the conditions for any of them and trust me there are a lot of people I know who met those conditions well within in a month or 2. The visa routes that I am aware of are; The point-based routes such as : A. Tier 1 - Highly Skilled Migrants - There are 3 categories I know; 1. Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa - This visa restricts you to establishing your own business or joining a new or existing business as a director. There are sub categories to this route: the £200,000 route or the £50,000 route and the Graduate Entrepreneur. You can only be employed by your business. Read the guidance below for further info; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/513958/T1__E__Guidance_04_2016.pdf 2. Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa - I only recently discovered that this is actually one of the easiest route. You need to be endorsed first before you can apply to this route. There are criteria you have to meet with regards to jobs/researches before you can be endorsed, then apply for this visa. This route offers you 5 years at a stretch and thereafter you can apply for permanent stay. it also allows you to be either self employed, employed, a contractor as long as your work/research is within the title/position you have been endorsed for. Read the guidance for further info; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/526652/T1__ET__Guidance_06_2016.pdf 3. Tier 1 Investor visa - This is for investors who are willing to invest minimum of £1 million in the UK. Read conditions here; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/514081/T1__I__Guidance_04_2016.pdf B. Tier 2 - 2 categories: 1. Tier 2 General visa - You will require a sponsorship certificate before you can apply via this route. So when you are offered a job here and your employers are willing to sponsor you; they would assign a certificate to you, which you would submit along with your application form and other required documents. There are conditions and restrictions on this visa route regarding, taking other employments, changing employer, sponsor licence being revoked or suspended, or being self employed. The set of people I'm aware of this route favours the most are doctors, nurses, Construction Engineers, and IT experts (eg, Designers, Programmers). Read the guidance for further info; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/514054/Tier_2_Policy_Guidance_04_2016.pdf 2. Tier 2 ICT (Intra-company Transfer) visa - you will require sponsorship certificate like the Tier 2 General and there are 4 sub-categories; a. Long-term Staff - allows for transfer of more than 12 months, but your employer must first prove that the position cannot be filled by a new UK resident. And you need to have worked for your employer outside the UK for at least 12 months. b. Short-term Staff – The same condition as "a" c. Graduate Trainee -You need to be a recent graduate with at least 3 months’ experience with your employer outside the UK. d. Skills Transfer - allows you to gain skills and knowledge needed to perform your duties outside the UK, or to pass on your skills to your UK colleagues. Read the Guidance for further info ; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/514054/Tier_2_Policy_Guidance_04_2016.pdf C . Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) visa - I do not know much about this route. However, you can read the guidance to find out more; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/478078/2015_11_19_T5__TW__guidance_11-15.pdf Non Point-Based routes such as: 1. The Spousal visa - if you can prove that you are a spouse/partner/civil partner of a UK settle person or a person who has been granted indefinite leave to remain as a refugee or on humanitarian protection, you can go through this route. Please Read : https://www.gov.uk/remain-in-uk-family/overview 2. Dependant visa (EEA) - If you have a settled relative in the UK and you meet the conditions, you can apply via this route. Please Read ; https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/overview 3. Points Based System (Dependant) - If you have your spouse/partner who is currently in the UK on any of the point-based visas, you can apply as their dependant. Please read Guidance for further info; https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/477216/PBS_dependant_guidance_11-15.pdf ------------------ DISCLAIMER --------------------------------------- This is only an information and cannot be construed as an advice. so read the Guidance which you can find on the Home Office website and if possible consult a lawyer before making any decision/application. Beware the guidance are usually updated from time to time, So ensure you are reading up-to-date Guidance. Cheers. 1 Like 1 Share |

For the girl to bring a man into their home tells a lot about her upbringing. I blame the parents. Secondly, the father treating her this way will only encourage the girl to continue her act but outside the home. sex education is really important. Our parents always shy away from educating their teenage kids and it brings about this sort of situation most times. 3 Likes |
