You are likely not pregnant. The blood test is very sensitive after a missed period

2Ballz:

Normozoospermia means, a healthy spermatozoons by reason of comparison to acceptable standards. Motility is 40%, this is way below reference but by all means not bad. Sometimes one or two criteria may not just fit in but that does not totally write off the SFA as a terrible one. With time motility will boost up provided he keeps to normal life changes and good personal health hygiene practice.

What have you done on your own?
Do you have problem observing ovulation?
Do you experience irregular menstrual cycle?
Have you done a TVS to check for size of your ovaries and follow up with hormonal profiling for your reproductive hormones to write off POF?

Better still, use my link to privacy for timely interaction. Note that privacy follows with charges.

@latifata

How big were the fibroids? Staph and candida are part of the flora of the body

@adebayosuraj
Hep b has no cure but can be managed. There is also a vaccine available

@zizz
I would advise a exam and culture while you have the rash

@queenlabisi
Seems like normal dimensions.
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:09am On Dec 15, 2012
@debranie

I agree with the advise you've been given here. However, I have to think that he knows about this issue since the test was done prior to the birth of his child. Be gentle.

@ofefegirl
Fibroids are very common. The injectable contraception can cause irregular bleeding. I would stop taking any meds and use condoms in the interim. This will give your periods a chance to regularize

@slushia
I doubt it but a day 3 fsh test will give you an idea of how your ovaries are doing

@lana75
I agree with olayiwole. It is important to know the kind of incision that was made on the uterus
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:00am On Dec 15, 2012
@tetede

I would suggest you stop pressing the breast. The condition that causes milk and affects fertility is called hyperprolactinemia. As long as you are cycling monthly, this does not seem to be the issue

@precious2002
Do you know where and how big the fibroid was?

@nchees
Sorry to hear about your loss. I would be patient and try to avoid stress. Take comfort in the fact that you were pregnant once and hopefully will be again

@cool83
Sounds like she is traumatized. I don't think there is anything physically wrong here. Be patient and supportive. If what to do doesn't come easily, just imagine if the shoe were on your foot. How would you view intimacy?
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 8:50am On Dec 15, 2012
@leranzo

A functional cyst is normal and part of your cycle

@meridian
There are several different types of cyst. All women of reproductive age will have a cyst depending on when in their cycle the ultrasound was done

@flairlady
It sounds normal to me. I wouldn't worry as long as you are cycling regularly

@opeoluwa
So sorry to hear of your miscarriage. The procedure is a d&c
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 8:18am On Dec 15, 2012
Hi friends. I'm back after a long hiatus. I will be going through the thread and answering as many questions as I can. Thanks
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 11:57am On Nov 27, 2010
@chiscomi

Congratulations!!

@ jdays
PID cannot be diagnosed by scans. Staph in urine is more likely a contaminant. I would suggest seeing a new physician for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 11:54am On Nov 27, 2010
@dshalom
There are many different drugs that have been tried but a standard has not yet been declared.  I would suggest a discussion with your fertility specialist to decide the one that might work best for you.

@ agluvs9ja
Sound like a condition called bacterial vaginosis.  It is an overgrowth of the normal bacteria in the vagina.  It is easily treated.  I would suggest a visit to the gyn
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:28am On Nov 27, 2010
@ jumman
Antibiotics are not routinely given to prevent utis. This is something to discuss with your generalist

@elpieda
Your menses is absolutely normal. The normal range is 3-7days
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:27am On Nov 27, 2010
@bobeefc
The discharge is caused by the pills

@ coffri
i don't know those medications but ovulation occurs 2 weeks before the onset of menses
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:24am On Nov 27, 2010
@life4all
If you can find acid jelly, that will work as well

@franny
I would suggest another pregnancy test
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:22am On Nov 27, 2010
@stages
Please let the wound heal. No sex, no tub baths. be patient.

@sweetypie
Congratulations!!
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:20am On Nov 27, 2010
@osiyemia
If you have been trying for two years, I would move on to IVF

@ oduamine

RUN!!! PID cannot be diagnosed on u/s. Free fluid just means the cyst has burst which can happen spontaneously.
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:16am On Nov 27, 2010
@uteh
I would not suggest the hsg. Let it be

@solo2
Ovarian cysts are common and in general have no effect on fertility. All pregnant women will have an ovarian cyst in the first trimester
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:15am On Nov 27, 2010
@ judity
You might have a condition called polyovarian cyst syndrome. The pill will regulate your cycles. It is quite common

@ acl
I would talk to your gyn about increasing the dose or trying other drugs. I also agree with the watch and see approach
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 9:10am On Nov 27, 2010
@ jody
I would suggest a complete evaluation of the cause of your high prolactin such as a brain cat scan or mri. This might have something to do with the headaches. While a tumor is unlikely, it must be ruled out

@ stevade
I think surgery might be the way to go for you. Even if you were to get pregnant, the size of the fibroids could seriously affect your ability to go to term
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:41am On Aug 28, 2010
@jumie
Just taking a summer break,lol

@talk2prett
I would suggest using rephresh. It restores the acidity of the vagina. Use it after your menses. No douching, sleep without underwear. Wear cotton only underwear
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:40am On Aug 28, 2010
@ munagi
I would suggest you go to a reproductive endocrinologist. What do you mean by your husband is ok?

@thief of hearts
That is an old adage. there is a push for vaginal delivery after c/s depending on the initial indication of the c.sec

@limar
It is actually 14 days to the next menses. Take the guess work out and grab an ovulation kit
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:35am On Aug 28, 2010
@mightlove
I am a huge advocate of iuds. No, they do not affect future fertility

@steveade
did your partner get a semen analysis?

Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:33am On Aug 28, 2010
@rita
Don't worry about miscarriage due to bv. I would suggest getting something like rephresh and using it after your menses. No douching and sleep without underwear

@divab
I suggest a pregnancy test but highly unlikely you are preganant. Try sex two days before your ovulaton date
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:29am On Aug 28, 2010
@asato
Kegels normally involve the va_gina. I don't know anybody who could help a guy with kegels

@ezec
Go ahead. Goodlucksmiley
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:26am On Aug 28, 2010
@susanamand
I would suggest being in control of the depth of penetration initially and reserving deep penetration for later. Missionary position is great to start with as depth is determined by how much you flex your hips

@chiscomi
Stop pressing. Are your periods regular?
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:23am On Aug 28, 2010
@angee4real
Your scan is normal. How long have you been trying?

@ijeomaobi
A hormone panel and gyn evaluation. They might also ask for a semen analysis of your partner
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:21am On Aug 28, 2010
@ninapha
There are several reasons for both gas and hiccuping. I would suggest a visit to the gp

@vinibabe
In general, we don't worry until the couple has been trying for a year without conception. I would keep a menstrual calendar and buy an ovulation kit to determine the exact day of ovulation. I would also suggest a semen analysis if no conception after a year.
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:15am On Aug 28, 2010
@sweetypie
I would suggest an ultrasound and a hormone evalutation

@life4all
Sounds more like a yeast infection. Don't douche. Try to eat yogurt or take acidophilus tablets. I would also check your partner for any scaly skin. He might have jock itch which can lead to this. If you have access to it, try to get rephresh. It is a gel infused with vinegar to reestablish the acidity of the vagina
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:02am On Jul 24, 2010
@lifegal
I suggest increasing the amount of water, not juice or soda(minerals). this is not uncommon during pregnancy. Make sure to take your vitamins

@oln
You can try right after the next menses
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 4:00am On Jul 24, 2010
@meta4
Congratulations!!! I want pics!smiley

@oh girl
Congrats! Sounds fine to me. I would go see the ob now and start taking prenatal vitamins
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 3:58am On Jul 24, 2010
@sweetypie
I would suggest taking a pregnancy test. If it is negative, i would repeat in a week. Let me know.

@kencivic
sorry, this is an ob/gyn thread
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 3:56am On Jul 24, 2010
@dere I
She needs an evaluation by a gynecologist. He/She will assess her endometrial cavity and lining. Was it a va0ginal or cesarean delivery?

@crystal25
It is because it can take a couple of cycles to restart ovulation. Good luck
Health / Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kathyekiti: 3:53am On Jul 24, 2010
@yesoo
Sorry to hear of your plight. However, miscarriages are so common that in general we don't look for causes until a patient has had three in a row. I agree with the assessment by your doctor. THe most reassuring thing about you is the fact that you have your daughter. Good luck

@lysim
I think you should speak with your obstetrician. There are certain conditions that cause itching during pregnancy and one of them, cholestasis of pregnancy, needs a thorough evaluation
