Scary Godzilla
Self-contained story
Appropriate post-war atmosphere
Emotional beats
Relatable human characters.

This film best anything that has been churned out by Hollywood.

It deserves all the praise.

4/4 stars
Not Hollywood, though

lol No. I have a nasty habit of holding on to the last season of sitcoms i enjoy, and since i have just one season left of the US version, i just hopped on the Uk version in the main time.
I fear that nasty habit is quite common among sitcom enjoyers grin grin

Wonder whether 2024 will deliver prime entertainment in terms of anime?? πŸ™„πŸ˜© Shit looks bleak AF.

Last year we had ultimate nutrition with Jujutsu Kaisen, AOT, Hell's Paradise, Heavenly Delusions, Vinland Saga S2..

This year I'm seeing shit like Solo Leveling. 😀 Not so hyped about Demon Slayer with the shïtty storytelling and filler nonsense trajectory they went with the past season.

Tried Meiji Gekken some months back but ain't feeling it yet in two episodes.

Dunno when Chainsaw Man is returning asides a rumoured upcoming movie.
I don't think this year's slate is promising. 😒😀
Tower of God S2 and Suicide Squad Isekai are both airing next season, starting from July.
Not really expecting either to make much of a major impact but you never know when a show will pull a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Closest you'll get to prime entertainment this year is most likely in October when Dandadan drops.

Asides all these, if anything picks up steam this season, I'll let you know.

"They could have expanded the budget and shown us an epic battle."

Fam, there was no epic battle. It was a gΓ ngbang. It was bullying. It was Arsenal vs Chelsea.

Did you people not listen to what Toranaga was telling Yabushige? Once Ochiba, my milf, pulled support from Ishido, the man was done. There was no heroic last stand. Just a shameful walkover.

Know that you were never denied an epic battle because there was never going to be one and know peace.

Friends is one of the very good ones!, it's like 3rd on my list currently My current top 3 goes....Scrubs > Seinfeld> Friends.

Have Modern Family and TBBT lined up right after my current watch, can't believe i haven't seen these 2, especially TBBT, considering how popular it was at one time.

"HIMYM" went way down the perking order for me, with that Barney and Robin stunt they pulled towards the end, they totally lost me with that. I heard they rebooted it, but that failed to launch.
HIMYM still manages to hold the 3rd position because I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the final season for years now. Someday I'll get around to seeing it to fulfill all obligations.

Scrubs! ❀️.

My fave sitcom of all time, An absolute delight each time i get to re see it, and i never seem to get tired or bored of it lol.

A good friend of mine, sent me all seasons, back in 2014, and ever since then, Bar S9, i think i have ran through all other seasons more than 10 times since then.

Top tier show fr ✨
Mine is Friends, followed by The Big Bang Theory and then How I Met Your Mother in 3rd place, though Modern Family is coming to shake up the rankings.

The Office US S6 - S8 (2010 - 2012).

More warm hugs on a cloudy day this!

I am totally still enjoying this, albeit it's a bit slowed down , and i think that is expected in sitcoms, as it gradually winds down to the end, the writers begin to have less wiggle room to work and so, some episodes might didn't hit but was still a totally great watch. They threw me a massive curve ball at the end of S7 tho 😩.

I am sadly down to just one more season before i complete the show, so i think am gonna let that last season stew for a while because i am not ready to see the end of this show πŸ˜©πŸ˜….

Hall of Fame level Sitcom this πŸ‘ŒπŸΏ

Sitcoms are rarely about "plot", as each episode has it's own "plot", and as such you can watch any episode at random after your first run plus most sitcom are about 21 minutes top. The plot most times aren't "head scratchers, so with all these, i believe sitcoms are one of the easiest medias to consume.
Sitcoms and police shows are the peak of home TV entertainment. Back in simpler and freer times, nothing was more fun than turning on cable and being greeted by an episode of Last Man Standing, Modern Family, Law and Order, NCIS or Hawaii Five-0.
Sometimes if you jumped too far, you'd catch a spoiler. Sitcoms were milder as it was usually something romantic, so-and-so are now dating or now have a child. Police show spoilers could be much more jaring. Someone might have died or turned out to be evil.
Will never forget how I jumped into season 8 of Bones and found out Sweets was dead. When the re-run started, Sweets' scenes were hard to watch.

No matter how much I love a series, I can't watch it twice. I can rewatch a few scenes, but the entire series? No no. Baba you try
I liked the first 5 episodes, but the last 3 fell flat (IMO)
Comedies, especially sitcoms, are a sure rewatch on my end. Then there's the enjoyable masterpieces that you just have to experience again.

Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scar giver (2024).

This is definitely for the last remaining members of the ZS fanclub

I didn't see the point of having this standalone sequel, this just dragged out the story unnecessarily and everything could in this could have been easily cramped into 30 minutes and added to the first part to make just one movie.

That been said, this is probably one of the hardest movies for me to review, cuz it isn't unnecessarily bad like the general consensus says but there is little redeeming qualities tbh. They didn't develop properly on the story or give any hoff about character development that warrant having these 2 movies. I actually defended part 1 cuz i thought part 2 will be considerably better, but is just about the same stuff, and i totally lost it when, the antagonist and protagonist were fighting with a light saber cheap knock off 😩, it stripped any form of any little authenticity that the movie had laid claim to prior. There is a good intergalactic space war franchise etched somewhere in there but it is all wrapped in a slow mo fest + amateurish prod. it ended on bait for another sequel but except your last name is Snyder, i don't really see anyone been interested in it further than this.

and i like my man ZS, but maybe it's probably time i admit to myself that he has hit his plateau and he is probably washed now πŸ˜”. With Netflix making a pact last week , that they are not gonna be funding movies with "No substance" going forward, I'm afraid ZS is never getting any serious money to back future projects.

5/10
And here I was hoping Scargiver would give us something substantial to continue the argument from Part 1.
Hurts to read this. Love Zack and I really pray he teams up with a good writer(s) and eventually delivers something epic for us down the line.

Naruto I Didn't know about filler episodes ,I was deep inside filler episodes I just noticed that the stories aren't that interesting until I look it up,and found all the fight against Akatsuki I'm looking forward to is from Naruto shippuden .But shippuden is way too Long gonna take my time
Even Shippuden still get fillers. Use a filler guide, if you want to avoid fillers.

I can relate. grin

Then they will take a season and split into two DVDs or is it the one that you'll see a new film on a DVD collection not knowing it is cinema-dubbed.

Na because of them I never finish Smallville till today: I buy Season 7 DVD not knowing na still Season 4 them dey for real life.
Remember the hacks we came up with or learnt to avoid some of these.
Like only buying from stores that would play the DVD first so you could see the quality of the movies.
And buying only series that were compiled by R5 cos them R5 guys had a reputation for listing the exact no of episodes on the disc.
