Education / How To Prepare For Npower Transition Psychometric Test For Batch A And B by KDCityForum(f): 9:30pm On Jun 21, 2020
It is no longer news that NPower batch A and B will undergo a Spychomerict test to assess their employability skills before transiting into the government entrepreneurship scheme and other private jobs. This was disclosed by the ministry of humanitarian affairs as part of the ministry exit plan for the NPower veteran volunteers.

Download The Psychometric Test Sample Questions Tips For NPower Batch A And B Volunteers Here

A psychometric test or job aptitude test has been proven to be the most difficult screening exercise for job applicants, it is one of the tools employed by recruiters during the job selection process.

As a result of these, it has become necessary for Npower volunteers concerned to prepare beforehand. And the best way to prepare for the Psychometric test is to practice before the test.

What is a Psychometric test? Psychometric tests are designed to measure candidates' suitability for a role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude (or cognitive abilities). They identify the extent to which candidates match those required to perform the role.

In the case of NPower, they will determine which Psychometric test to use in assessing the NPower Batch A and B. So, you are supposed to know one or two things regarding the NPower programme you are enrolled in.

There are different type of Psychometric test, the most commonly used are:
Personality test
Situation judgment test
Verbal Reasoning test
Numerical reasoning test
Reading comprehension test, etc

So we advise the volunteers to work on themselves before going for the Psychometric test.

Politics / The Impact Of Npower And N-SIP Beneficiaries And Families To Buhari Reelection by KDCityForum(f): 5:00pm On Feb 28, 2019
N-power beneficiaries and other National Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) beneficiaries of Buhari Administration contributed tremendously as electorates to the reelection of President Muhammad Buhari.

The electorates are the backbone and success of any vibrant democracy and power belong to the electorates as such any serious leader who wants to take a key position such as President in a country, must be ready to make the ordinary citizens feel the dividend of their votes. N-power and other N-SIP beneficiaries are among many other electorates that benefited from Buhari Administration.

President Muhammadu Buhari and his team were able to achieve success because of the extent they went in making sure that ordinary Nigerians feel their impact and in appreciation they decided to obliged them another four years to provide dividend of democracy to the people of Nigeria.

Lets look at the impact of N-power beneficiaries and other National Social investment programme (N-SIP) beneficiaries in the reelection of President Buhari to serve for second term:

When president Buhari and his vice Osinbajo came into office in 2015, their first plan was to reduce poverty and they decided to invest in People through the National Social Investment Programmes (N-SIP) . The N-SIP Scheme comprises of programmes such as: N-power, NHGSFP, GEEPMarketmoni, Tradermoni, Farmermoni and Hupcct.

These Programmes empowers thousands of Nigerians across all Level, the poor of the poor,Graduates, non graduates, market women and farmers etc. These beneficiaries and some members of their family played a key role for the return of Buhari Administration.

For instance, the 500,000 N-power beneficiaries and votes from other members of their family which they were able to convince to vote for Buhari will probably be up-to 2 million not talking about votes from beneficiaries of other National social investment programme and their families. These set of people play a very important role in reelection of Buhari

Any Leader who wants to win a key leadership position in our society today should be ready to put the ordinary people first because Nigerians are wiser now and are ready to elect leaders who have them at heart

Elrufai also talked about how N-power programme has impacted young Nigerians graduates. He said, thousands of young graduate are part of the Npower Programme in my State, 30,000 are teaching in schools, working in health centers and assisting farmers and this 30,000 is just in Kaduna State. Look at how many people will get that opportunity in 36 State.

It's everyone that has the equal chance to participate, it is not just the children of Ministers, Senators and Governors, everyone has a chance. This is the only government in Nigeria history that has consciously thought of doing something for the poor.

Why I sponsored Bill To Establish The Age Discrimination Against Jobs Seekers - Hon Sergius Ogun

Hon. Sergius Ogun, member of house of representative representing Esan north, East/Esan, South-Esan constituency of Edo State was on the NTAGMN show this morning and talked about why he sponsored the bill for the eradication of age limit among job seekers in Fed Govt Agencies.

According to him, coming to government and have a lot of job seekers in your constituency you have pilled of CV and the government agencies required and hire people base on age. You now begin to wonder if the ones in the private sectors also maximize, take young men and women but the government that should set an example should not do that.

In any case, I don't believe that government should have too much responsibility of employing people, create the enabling environment for the private sector to thrive. But you have a young man who is nearly 30 years but govt agency saying that you should be 26 to get a job where does that young man start from.

For some of us that was born in the village and brought up in the village, most time before you finish school with ASSU strike and all that you are almost 28-30 years, you have to go farm cassava to pay school fees that is what is happening in my constituency. So, before that man finishes most are in their early 30s.

So what that means is you are not even qualified to get a job. So, this bill is coming from my first hand experience with people coming from the rural areas. Most jobs required age limit of 26-27 and most CVs I have, they are 32-35 and the have never worked. So I am wondering how am going to get a job for a young man or woman like this.

That is what prompted this bill. Let's galvanize forces to see this become law. The bill to establish the age discrimination against jobs seekers in Federal Government agencies scaled second reading yesterday. Says Hon. Sergius Ogun</p>
