It's fine to doubt but not insult.

I am not oblige to share any info. I just did that for expectation management.

Clearly, I am not shell and cannot determine what was sent to me. I earlier gave my thought as to why it was like that.

Using words like idiot is very inappropriate here. NL has been starved of sound minds sharing helpful tips because of these kind of comments. Platforms like this shouldn't be an avenue to insult people you don't know.

Well, I refuse to involve in these kind of conversation.

Best wishes

Kenny4smart:

Baba, I still can't stop expressing doubt on the veracity of this your purpoted evidence. It was explicitly stated this time that the on demand video interview is stage 2 of the application process. So why the stage one in your mail.

However, I still don't want to imagine that you're fooling yourself because that will be the greatest disservice you or any other idiot can do to themselves here.

I pity the gullible ones who are senselessly giving credence to your fallacious screenshot... I pray God help you all.

Well it's all good. I wouldn't had made any comment but for Masgoon's good heart I want to add to my network.

You can tinker this however you desire. The fact remains and can not be changed.

The last recruitment was not different from this one in terms of how NLers were in doubt for the face-to-face interview till successful applicants resumed and got their juicy offer.

It's fine to doubt though, but what will i gain deceiving people here?

NL should be a platform for serious people and not jokers.

Best of luck

Hello

The Shell recruitment scheme started on the 8th of july and to end on the 22nd of july 2019.

So many of us nationwide applied for the shell recruitment and did the assessment even before the 15th but it is so strange that in all platform , forum which I have checked for those who have gotten the ODVI invite, only two to three guys have said they received which are from this forum called nairaland which they claim to have received the invite the same day

For 2019 recruitment , every of shell email carries a signature talking about the current process.

First mail informing you about your application received: the signature talks about shell

Second mail inviting you to do your assessment : signature talks about shell

Third mail informing you that you have completed your assessment : signature talks about Cubiks

The fourth mail inviting you for on demand interview: signature should talk about shell /Hireview

The fifth one informing you that you have completed your on demand video : signature should talk about Hireview

Now in that picture sent, there is no signature on the mail which happens to be a 2017 edited mail ...

What I believe is that shell sent us assessment 24 hours after you apply in other to screen out some candidates as they are much. The ODVI should come after the application date closes and not when others are still applying. They will only get confused if they send ODVI when people are still applying. I am sure the process was hectic and stressful during 2017 recruitment that is why they did not involve the ODVI invitation with the first invitation mail as they did in 2017 recruitment

I Dont know if you guys can see what I am seeing

LET US BE GUIDED PLEASE!!!

Speaks volume of your personality.

Reasons why people do not like disclosing things like this.

The guy that is posting his video interview mail should go and sleep inside toilet. What are u feeling like. Please stop disturbing us with that edited invitation bulshit of 2017. We are not interested in it. Stop clogging this page for Christ sake. Posting edited invite of 2017. You want us to believe you.. very soon you will post someone's offer letter.

Apt!

whyo:
This might just be another theory and may not be of any benefit to us now, but for those that will see this next Shell recruitment. It's might 3rd attempt at the shell recruitment and i can't help but notice no correlation between by responses in the personality questionnaire and the result i got for the drive section. I think an additional factor to that particular result "drive" is how early you submit your application and attempt the assessment. And this where i think those who attempted the assessment earlier will have an edge over others provided they are successful in the ODVI. Really think about it, why did most people apply later? especially those who are not applying for the first time. It because you wanted to know how it went for the early birds and probably get dubs. If you have all your documents ready and you really want a place at shell, nothing should stop you from applying on the first day or first week latest. This is "Drive"- The levels of determination and passion shown in the pursuit of goals. I hope these is enough for the wise. Wishing us success in the recruitment!

While I understand the zeal in getting this job, know it is not a do or die affair.
Retaking the test doesn't speak well of a candidate from all ethical standpoint. Even if/when you get the job, this can be a big integrity issue for you.

I am sharing another picture. Use same intelligence to know if this is false.

Congratulations! And best of luck if genuine.
Though, methinks it's not genuine. Because, ODVI this time around is stage 2 and not stage 1 as stated in your screen shot. That could be a screenshot from their last recruitment in which ODVI was part of stage 1.
Time will tell.
All the same, congrats again & best of luck if genuine

Yeah, true, it suppose to be stage two but that's what the mail says. Apparently there have been some changes from last recruitment that is yet to be updated on their system e.g the 30 secs prep before responding is now 1 min, odvi ought to be stage two but the mail clearly carries stage one.

Thanks and best of luck

All documents I think would be helpful to my application. Although I did more upload than the usual but I am sure that doesn't give an edge, at least at this stage of odvi

When you get the video invite, you will get more directional advice. However, it was nothing outside the ordinary interview questions. Aligning your experiences to give a proper answer to the question asked.

How was the ODVI like? Pls. Give us some insight, like what should we expect?

Just know why you want to join the company and how your experiences aligns with shell's way of doing things.

There use to be an hack to the shell process but since the process was changed somethings changed.

As you know from your experience, different companies with their different process. The simplest ones usually consider some "trivial" factors in the recruitment process.

I didn't get any notification on your reply. I just followed you now. A new reply/message from you may now get to me.

I am a bit rusty with NL. Tried sending a PM but it went like a request to connect. You can check your end

you got ODVI? did you also get on sunday?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Shell Nigeria (SPDC) Graduate Trainee Recruitment, 2019 by MakTaj: 7:39am On Jul 20, 2019
Hi mosgoon,

I do can not agree less with you on this. Although the deadline is yet elapse but considering the overwhelming application they will have, I think they will need to filter on more than just performance.

I got the ODVI and I have submitted. From all indications from this platform it seems they only sent out on Sunday so that's a pool they will first consider from I guess. Explaining the first come, first serve basis.

Wish you guys the best anyways.

Mosgoon I would like further private discussion with you. I hope you oblige this; we definately have a lot in common. Need to expand my network

All the best guys!

mosgoon:
This might be totally wrong but I'm thinking shell must have stopped receiving applications judging from the fact that they said it's a first come first serve thing kind of, and they must have filled slots. Not sure though as they also said deadline is 21st...
But that could be an explanation to the recent complaints.

Once again I could be totally wrong.

An occurrence to debunk this would be someone writing successfully between now and deadline

Russia is a beautiful country indeed! A smooth ride through the online courses would entice you to want to make the next trip to Russia and feel the serene atmosphere as shown on the videos...

I am sure this would be a great experience for all foreign volunteers in the 2018 Worldcup in Russia.

Congratulation once more to my fellow compatriots that made it to this stage. Look forward to seeing you in Russia!

It's been a long wait and I must say it hasn't been easy being this patient.

Everything is looking good and in some days from now, the online training will commence for the selected volunteers.

Being a part of the world cup is a big deal guys! Come out and let's discuss our experience thus far. This will spark up the spirit of volunteering and encourage patriots to pickup a challenge that will impact positively to the growth of Nigeria.

As I await successful, reserved and not successful applicants to come and share their experience, I say best of luck in the coming days!

Hey guys.

Congratulations to those that have been contacted on their interview outcome and subsequently recommended for a position. However, we wait for the final outcome in March as they said in the mail.

It should interest you all to know that it is visa free to Russia for the duration of the Worldcup. All you need to do is purchase a ticket for any match and apply for a FAN ID in lieu of a visa.

As I hope to get comments from selected volunteers, it's bye for now.
