Australia. I dream about this large island every time.

I wonder what life is like over there. The people, the animals, work/business life, how quiet it is.

I belief the life there will suit my kind of person.
My problem is, Australia is too difficult to enter and too expensive if going through school route.

Fashion / Do Nigerians Still Read Beauty Newspapers And Magazines? by MsFaith: 4:54am On Jun 11, 2023
So, my foreign colleague has been disturbing me about the most popular beauty magazines and newspapers in Nigeria where she can make adverts of our products.

I’ve been thinking really hard. Do we still read magazines and newspapers in Nigeria?

Ok, if we read at all, which are the most popular?

From all you have said i did not see any reason why you would not help your brothers. How did you help them before? Is it by giving them 2k here or 10k there? That's no help...you can do that to a friend or even a neighbor!
To help here brothers so that they can stand on their own do these:

Let them learn a trade then you settle them.
For those that want to school sponsor them if you can.
If you can also sponsor them overseas.

Furthermore you can get them a bus for transportation business or bolt...

Helping us by changing someone's life for the better not giving them chicken change!

grin you talk as if you know how rich she is. You even say 2k and 10k is no help. grin in this economy o, can you pick 2k or 10k from the floor?

[quote author=Dukeolumidemans post=114831499]My homie sees his own family as superior and sees others as nonsense. He takes everything from me and never likes to return them or share his. Same with his brother. Borrows cash, clothes, shoes and never bothers to return any but will never attempt to give u any help even though they are very rich.
Even when opportunities came through their eldest brother who is a head in a major government Oil company in Nigeria, they will rather give it to people who don't care about them...I woke up one morning and walked away from all of them. Years later, through hard work and consistency, I and my only brother blew up like nitro!!!
Now we drink Champaign when we are thirsty and drive some of the finest/cleanest cars on a low key... fuuuck that!!!

Its an inter-generational marathon you are too shallow and fickle to ever understand.

since you have a deep knowledge as to why we keep running this maraton as a nation, why not do something about it?

or you think you are the only who has the best interest of the country at heart? The japa people did too, but we don't seem to be having a headway that's why it is better to leave. If you feel you can stay back and fight the good fight, good for you and your family!! Your successors will love you for it.

The 'misery loves company' mentality that you have. Mtchewww

But other people's ancestors came to this world to suffer and die with blood and sweat so that you could simply wake up, abandon your own struggle, and go and benefit from what they have toiled, suffered, bled and died for right? Short-cut awoof mentality, Kwantinu.

Okay, since you want to be an ancestor that suffered to make Nigeria better, something your own ancestor couldn't do successfully, please carry on. You unborn generation will praise you for staying put.

Bye!

Oga, if the place is not okay for you why not come back home and stop discouraging others , are people in the US afraid of being kidnaped, are the people there not enjoying regular power supply , is the Academic union there always on strike ?

I dey tell you. And all these nigerian problems didn't just start today. It's been going on even before most of us were born, yet it keeps deterioating, only getting worse. Abeg, if you want to leave, leave. No allow anyone discourage you. Life is easy in better countries.

The old and corrupt people are free to lobby for leadership positions, just as you are free to do more to lobby against them in favour of young saints.
Why are you not doing that
Is anyone stopping you? Who is this? Or who are they?

People that want to go, let them go, you, stay back with your family and repair Nigeria. Inugo?

LoL....like leaders like flowers....... corruption is in majority of Nigerians irrespective of your age .
Nigerians like ready made, no one want to be patient to build.....there are some states with younger leaders/governor yet there's no difference.........
Build your country with positive mindset and see your country grow.....

MrBroke:

You yourself You are also corrupt, no politician is responsible for your problem, in every country they are corrupt leaders yet people do okay there and some don't.

DeepSight:

There is nothing we are going through which Europe has not experienced ten times worse. If everyone had the run away mentality, there would be no great countries in the world.

obyrich:
Who are the old and corrupt people lobbying? Who are the people promoting these old and corrupt people all over social media and other forums? We the youth are responsible for the decay currently ongoing in Nigeria.

As you are staying back now, what have you built? Even as you have the stay back and repair mentality what have you successfully repaired? The people that want to japa, don't you think they've also thought to stay and work out but realised it's a mission impossible for them before they took the best decision which is to leave?

Abeg, y'all and your families can stay to repair the country, as for me, we are leaving. Enough of struggling with no fruitfulness. We didn't come to this world to suffer suffer till we grow and die

The problem with people is that they all want to go and jam-pack themselves in the US and Uk that are currently the worlds biggest problem, when there are better countries to go, work and live an ok life.

Please give examples of these better countries
