FIFA Confederations Cup: South Africa '09 Official Thread
« on: May 28, 2009, 10:14 PM »

With all the tears and blood shed after a pulsating season save for this weekend, the next 'big' tourney for us footie fans is the FIFA confederations cup. This is a tournament designed by the Saudi monarchy to amuse themselves and spend a lot of petro-dollars that Mr Blatter in all of his wisdom decided to make a FIFA grade tournament. It is now used as a dress rehearsal for a world cup host and gathers all the continent champions plus the world champions for a tourney that a winner would emerge from.

What do we call this winner? World champion? I do not think so. . . Since we already have a tournament called the World cup.  It would be better If FIFA were to revert this tourney back to its semi-friendly status and let confederations present all-star teams to this rehearsal world cup.

Should the confederations cup remain as it is OR should we be given the opportunity to see a team with Drogba and Eto'o up front?

How amiable are the experiences of supporting the players you love.
Yesterday, was made for me by these boys who does not dissappoints.
When I saw Torres scored a hat trick in 17 minutes, I went kissing him on the screen.
Look at the arsenals produced for spain by Liverpool and Barcelona.
I was soo glad when in saw Torres, Alonso, Riera, Arbeloa doing the tricks for spain.
Liverpool is a team i love with the players thereof.
Barca is my second team. I wish iniesta quick recovery.
The king of soccer is on rampage, who can stand them?
Not even Brazil.

You took the words outta my mouth khanye but am not surprised coz such is expected of a true Barca Fan.
I have been an avid supporter of Spain since back in the days because I see the Barca Spirit in the Team and judging from the annihilation of New Zealand last nite, I make Bold to say Spain Is the King In Waiting!. . .
