I have been light skinned from scratch but due to stress and most especially the heat of the sun,i have become so dark skinned that there is hardly any trace of me being light initially and when i tell people i was light initially no one believes me. i need help in finding out which soap is best for getting a light skin, not just light,an evenly light and fresh looking skin and not just any kind of soap like tura and similar ones, cheap or expensive i just need to know the soap i need to use.(A soap i can get easily) and also which cream and facial cleanser would do a perfect job.(More concerned about the soap though) heard about 'SKIN SUCCESS COMPLEXION TONING SOAP' but am not toO sure and don't want to buy anythIng that would damage my skin thats why am coming up here for help. I live in Nigeria and would appreciate if you recommend products available in Nigeria thank you

whatever you use will damage your skin in the long run. "The suns rays stimulates the production of melanin (stuff that make people darker) in the skin as a protection against the harmful effects of the sun (skin cancer etc.)" that's why you got darker. and i don't think that's a bad thing. stress don't make you dark @ Longoria don't know where you go that theory from You're all suffering from Colonial mentality. since you're all so desperate even though you know all these nasty stuff you use have very harmful long term effects. and they make us (africans) a laughing stock to others.

i said it on nairaland millio0nth times now, stop using skin lighning stuff it's bogus it doesn't work for long, just use hydrogen peroxide and few lemon juice to remove the darkened place when skin returns clear start using sunscreen and be ok with your colour, plus those creme gives bad body odour, skin disorder and it's for illitrates, if you hate my idea and still wants light skin but the skin lighning pill

don't use first lady, it's cheap and rubbish try the exclusive or executive white in the a3 range, it's much bettre or the bianca cream, i know a lot about lightening because my mum does it, she's african and suffers from pigmentation problems, or try papaya soap/kojic acid combination, phillipinos use this combination, and it works great. take l-glutathione pills, they whiten u up fast, they're the new craze in the US.

Look at all these girls with no self esteem advising one another on bleaching creams and bleaching soaps. When you end up with squamous cell carcinoma or turn into checkered burnt out masquerades you'll run to mountain of fire and be binding and casting when you brought the evil upon yourselves. How pitiful!

The best is very hot vegetable oil I hope you don't end up with these fake wannabe yellow banana as a wife. That's why I advise men to look at the knuckles, heels, elbows and ears to know the God given complexion of your wife.

Its quiet funny how someone already warned them and they ignore. It is quiet sad that people with access to the internet are still quiet so backwards. There backwardness will soon result to cancer as mercury is a major product used in bleaching cream.

rather than concentrate on lightening, focus on protecting your self from the sun,
use sun screan, cleanse, exoliate and detoxify, your skin will look healthy and toned without looking chemically enhanced.
u can include a gentle toner in your skin care regimen to encourage the skin renewal process

Exfoliating toners are good for the face, they cleanse the dead outer skin layer keep your skin young and supple without bleaching and have no quinolones and mercury or any of these damaging products. What these girls are talking about is totally different. They want to turn pseudo oyibo by all means Tufiakwa! Mental slavery

LOL I get the feeling they don't understand that they can achieve the same results without all that drastic measure, I remember going to the market in Nigeria years ago to look for sunscreen, they kept trying to sell me all kinds of lightening and bleaching creams. . . there should be more education on these issues, so many young girls are experimenting with the wrong products thats why they all end up looking false and colourful
