I really do surport OBJ. Not becasue he is giving me anything ..He is not and I dont need his money to lift up nigeria's image.
My point is that our problem lies in the hands of our people not in OBJ besides I do rather chalange the evil that I have seen his effect (OBJ) than the evil I have not seen his effect (badangida, orji kalus etc)
let this man continue his mission to end corruption practise in nigeria

What we need is a Miracle. someone who really wants to change Nigeria and got the fear of God. Doesn't matter if it's Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, male or female.
I say no to 3rd term because I don't see any significant change. People are still complaining of poverty, lack of jobs, and students spending 5 years at home before finally getting into a college.

My vote is NO to 3rd Term.
OBJ has made a name for himself on the aspect of his effort in breaking the myth surrounding some minority of Nigerians that are described as "untouchable". He has helped to also remove the myth that telephone is for the poor, which over the years had impeded economic development in the country because of the myopic views of previous leaders. OBJ has bridged better relationship between Nigeria and the wider world communities. He was the only past dictator that voluntarily handed power in the past.
I consider him as a man that love the progress of Nigeria and will not do anything to destroy it. He has to go as stipulated by the current constitution and even if the constitution is changed, he and the incumbents should not be the pioneers of the new constitution.
In a country of over 130 million people, there are men and women of like-minds that would be happy to carry on with the fight against corruption. He should help in preparing all Nigerians for the best leadership qualities even for the President of Nigeria.
On this I will urge him to advise his spokesman to watch his utterances, as politics is a matter of integrity and not a war zone.

Now, 88% of Nigeria says they do not support Third Term but a democratic Nigeria may still have Third Term.
OBJ in his words: "A tenure shall last for five years and a president shall rule just for a single tenure and being the president introducing this constitution, I'll be the first to be a president under this proposed new constitution" (...Paraphrase)
This is an obviously vivid selfiness of the highess degree.
That will be a good constitution. Introduce it and then let Nigerians to practise it. I am not against him being a president for a 3rd time but I am against him because of his age. Let him retire for someone younger; afterall the constitutionalized age for retirement according to the Nigerian Constitution, has he for a long time lived beyond.
A good leader should be an example to others.

For Obj to be asking for a 3rd term means he knows what are our so called reps and senators can do, and he also knows what they want. We all voted for him, and now we are shouting NO for a 3rd term. Anyway, Mr. President can go for a third term if he wants, and no one can stop him from doing that, because he already knows the extent to which our leaders can go. Which is going back home with Ghana- must-go each to shut their mouth.

We are all against the proposed agenda of the President to run for a 3rd term. Though most Nigerians see it as a 3rd term, I see it as his 4th tenure, yes, fourth term.
I hope we have not forgotten his first regime as a Military!! Was he born always to be in Aso Rock? Why can't we think. He mustn't come back. Power has to rotate.

All of a sudden Nigerians with hidden personal agendas are trying to make us believe that Obasanjo is the solution to our problems. There are countless Nigerians that can govern but Will never have access to government because of our "selection" rather election process. Obasanjo can become a revolutionary leader by conducting a free and fair election for the first time in Nigeria and change the course of history. Can he go against the ruling elite which unfortunately he is one of them? This is the problem holding Nigeria down which no constitutional change or 3rd term can resolve.

Before he can even consider a third term, Obj should frist of all show respect to the rule of law. The constitution of Nigeria made no provision for a third term. So if he wants a third term, he should quicken the purportedly proposed amendment to the constitution, like he does every other thing, in other to favour himself.
He was given a chance both as a military and a civilian president. He played his part, let him give someone else a chance to try too. The next person might even do better things with regard to the so called reforms that people are scared of deteriorating if Obj does not continue.
I believe that these problems of corruption and lawlessness would end as soon as everyone, both the leaders and the lead become subject to the law. No one person will make Nigeria better except the rule of law prevails.
If Obj does just whatever he likes, he is not suitable to occupy the seat of a president, he should step down at the end of this his second term so that someone else will try. A good leader should always lead by example.
I dont support third term neither am i in support of messing with exixting laws in order to satisfy one's whims and caprices.

If he is doing that, why was he blaming Abacha then? u cant solve anything in 8 years then how can he do it in 5 years, i guess he is quite aware of what happened to Abacha, he was arresting his opponents then using "failed bank whatever" then now Obasanjo too he is using EFCC to supress his own opponents too, so why was he blaming Abacha?

I belive him, I think he is moving nigeria to the right direction and we should not expect nigeria to just turn over in a day. If obj is not elected again, then there is gona be a problem cos the president that is comming in will also face issues ,
