Fhemmmy:

Chief . .  You mean in Lagos, after the roads have been fixed, those yeye arm robbers dont dig same road to cause traffic so as to do their evil stuff?

Lagos is different because it is highly urbanized. You can't compare the crime rate in North Dakota with the crime rate in NY.

Beaf is very very wrong, the farther up north you go the worse the roads become, the governors build good roads up north, it is other more important things they do not give enough attention.

Are roads not important enough to you?

Go and tell another person that story. I have been on enough Northern roads to talk with authority. By the way, a great percentage were built with PTF dough, not by Obj as that untamed boko haram promoter, Rhino.5dm claimed.
Re: Typical Northern Road by Rhino5dm: 5:31am On Nov 10, 2011
You keep on displaying your low IQ, with any slight opportunity. I have been to alot of northern states to tell you this, most state roads were built by the governors under OBJ

In Plataeu, Micheal Botmang was the governor that did many of the road projects(even with his brief stay in office), Jashua Dariye messed up. Big time.

In Bauchi, Adamu Muazu, housed Julius Berger for 8 years, within that period there was a revolution in the whole state. ALL roads became new.

In Gombe, Danjuma Goje , brought the chinese construction giants as far back as 2004, they handle roads. The annual fatal accident used to be recorded around tashan mass stopped. Go and see wonders. Everywhere tiled to the teeth.

In Kaduna, Ahmed Makarfi was the one that consolidated the existing roads and build a fly over worth 5 billion naira.

In kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso was the man that did wonders within his first four years before Shekarau took over.

In Yobe, Bukar Abba and Gaidam were those that built this road the liar is displaying as FG projects.

In Jigawa state, Sule Lamido stood exceptionally tall after Saminu Turaki messed up the whole state.

In Borno, Ali Modu Sherrif did wonders, even though i see him as a lunatic for supporting Boko Haram. From railway, Ulari, Bulunkutu to low-cost, everthing road was mapped in. I can go and on with this. . .but am using my mobile phone to type.

. . .and the so much touted road projects in Akwa Ibom is my credit. As i was the one that sold the idea to Akpabio victor to invite Julius Berger, based on what i saw Ma'azu achieved with them in Bauchi.
In 2007 before flagging off his campaign, i advised him. You know what, Ikot Ekpene-Abak road was the first road they built in Akwa Ibom and i was the one that said so, cos that road leads to the governor's house. I told them to dualized it.

I know where to go and make blood money, but my consicience wont allow me to do that. I work and earned my money unlike YOU.
Dont be a fooool, brother. Go ask!

Beaf, oya tell us how you collaborated with Alams, Ibori, uduaghan and the Jonas to defrauded the Niger Delta people. Even the Australian waitress could not accept to touch the mess you service for anything grin
Re: Typical Northern Road by hercules07: 6:15am On Nov 10, 2011
@Beaf

I am sure the ones you are aware of are the Abuja - Kaduna road via Keffi and the Jos - Bauchi road, please go beyond Gombe and see bad federal roads, try going to Adamawa by road and you will know that the devil resides on that road, most of the federal roads were built by the PTF (not OBJ) that is true enough, same can be said for the federal roads down south, the only difference is the contractors down south chopped the money ( the Ibadan - Ilesha road is an example).
@Aloy
Roads may be important, but which one will you prefer in the North Good roads and Boko Haram, or not so good roads but an intelligent forward looking region.
Re: Typical Northern Road by Rhino5dm: 11:38am On Nov 10, 2011
You shouldn't have piled up issues. We should condemn our governors in the south and not just try to justify their in-action with the funny old tired lines of "All the projects in the north was done by ex-military" .

Yes major FG roads in the north was done by military northern thieves/dictators but, what stops GEJ & OBJ from using the 10 years available for them to complete Benin-ore-shagamu, East-west roads, 9th mile obolo-afor-Enugu-PH roads?? What stops them from transforming South? ? This is very sad.

Abuja-Jos-Bauchi-Yobe-Borno is almost 700 kilometers ? ? ? ? ?
What about Abuja-Kaduna-Kano-Borno? ? ?

Come to think of this, Tony aneni eat over 300 billion naira meant for those projects.

Compare to contrast. How many people do you think die annually on our southern roads? Can you compare that figures with those killed by Boko Haram? I dont think so!

Let us no be consoling ourselves with lies and provide escape route to our stench corrupt politicians.

I wont bother responding to your usual bullying, not for other genuine forumites. Whats so difficult in meeting a governorship aspirant? Dude, that guy wasn't even a governor then.

Lets just put it this way and cut the chase, Do you want to meet him in person? Take up this invitation and report back to this thread. Is that OK by you?

Far from that. Point in time i was about to loose faith in my self when things was very rough.

Mobil was never my problem either, from mobil house in Lagos to QIT at Akwa Ibom.

I hardly get impress with all the hypes in display of corrupt wealth or ways. I live a modest comfortable life, which am very happy with. There is nothing good in eating what does not belong to you. Some people are actually looking for relivance or "connection", but not me.

How will i feel today if am part of those that destroy this country?
