Keep exposing your ignorance and bigotry..

If I was the parent of that student and you decided to purnish her for practising her religion you would find yourself in court.

Be guided..
I asked you a question and you couldn't answer, where in the Qur'an is Heena and article of worship? What Surah is it written, agents of socital destabilisation. Have you eaten to satisfaction you want to sue Someone to court. Better use the money to enroll your child to a school that would accommodate your Rubbish.

Nope, this has nothing to do with religion, the factbyhat she is a student should have made her not to so such.

It’s nothing, life isn’t as hard as some teachers see it,if it’s unacceptable by the school the make an announcement, those who still go ahead with it should be called aside for counseling.

Have you seen anywhere that body marks is accepted as part of dressing to a secondary school? You wey dey 'unmiscap'
It's clear that this matter is beyond just this henna of a thing. There's no problem if you make clear where your hate stems from. There are no consequences.

If students can't Adhere to basic school rules how would they become responsible adults? Bending the rules for these kids would make them think they can get away with anything, which would be a problem in the future. The society is in decline because of things like this, people think they are minor, but it's actually a big problem in the society. She should be punished as deterrence, Yoruba are not known for sparing the rod.

She can use hydrogen peroxide (sold in chemist) to wash it at once.

All these are not necessary, i don't know why Nigerians take things too serious

Imagine, just because of ordinary henna see how people are shouting. As if she offended somebody

She went home for the salah break and came back to her secondary school like this...

What punishment would you suggest for this, or should it pass?

Cut off the part of the hands that the paint is affected.... That will be a suitable punishment!

No need for punishment, just let her know that though the lali fits her for the Salah celebration back home but it's not allowed within the school premises, so she should go and wash it off, you can get the parent involved politely and let them know that you are sending her back home so that she can wash it off else she may end up in her boyfriend's house while you are in school waiting for to return.

Parents please pay attention to the type of school and especially the quality of teachers in the school for your kids imagine this okrika teacher want to punish a student for practicing her religion, if such thing happens to my unborn children, I swear I go lock that teacher up!!!
She didn't take it to the mosque oga, she took it to school and as much as I can remember that is not part of school dress code in Nigeria.
You would have done better by educating the teacher on acceptability of that in Islam, irrespective of her age, especially during occasions and celebrations like Salah rather than threatening fire and brimstone.

I always have problem with people like you.
When Muslim wewe hijaab you bring in that used and washed line of Yoruba traditional brouhaha.

This what they have been doing for God knows how long and it isn't strange, but people like who always seek for a middle ground when there is obviously none are the problem.

I teach in the north too and writing these things is a common feature here.

And now to your question, hlw common do these traditional whatever you always pull out to counter our argument put on their so called attire if nkt for special occasions?

See,you guys should stop behaving like educated zombies.

What is common and what is ocassional are not the same.

Globally, what is on the face is different from what is on the hand, arm or other parts of the body. Go and check pls.

If you've taught in a school with a Muslim population, you'll know it washes away with time. And for most families, the Henna is part of the Eid festivities. Eid was recently celebrated so leave her be, please.

She doesn't do it every other day, just for this celebration. The whole design will wash away in no time.

Times are difficult, especially with our young ones. This is the most basic 'offence' of a secondary school student these days. Just let it go.

She shouldn’t be punished. A suspension would be okay perhaps till the Henna varnishes. Not necessary a suspension maybe a warning or it should be cleansed with Hydrogen Peroxide.
