Bros Nwakali is not an AM, he is a CM.

Well , that partly true but we also know he can play AM position due to his skill set. The boy can roam around the 18yrd box with so much each. He could score , create and play dead ball , so , beautifully well. He is a million miles better than Iwobi.

It shows the mental state of some folks.

As though being born in a non-Nigerian hospital extracts the Nigerian lineage from their veins.

Being born abroad does not take away your parents gene, but you are also a product of your environment. You pick oc the idiosyncrasies of the society you were born in.

Has any English born ever excelled in GWG ? Except for goalkeeper Ikeme....Iwobi has not blown us away

Truth is, we don't have to play with a number 10.
4-3-3, 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 3-1-3-3. This are options we can use

OK so finally Siasia don sue FIFA to court in US challenging the ban on him. Court summon gave Fifa 60 days to respond. Let's see how it will end

Have you been to these countries or your decision was based on what you read in Biblio? I have met people from these countries as an educator and economist, there is nothing about their education, economy, or quality of life that stand out for me. Yet I have met numerous Nigerians in every work of lives who can't be compared to anyone intellectually, financially, and morally.

I have been to 3 of these countries and know enough about the others to say with authority what I said. Pics of me in Boavista, Cape Verde and Cairo,Egypt attached. When I went to Namibia I was still a bit young so no pics readily available but trust me in what I have said.

Despite Sampdoria links, Serie A new comers Venezia have won the race to sign Nigerian striker David Okereke from Club Brugge.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Venezia have secured a deal to get Okereke on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

Okereke’s contract with Belgian Jupiler champions Club Brugge is due to run until June 2023.

He is certainly no stranger to Serie A, having come through the Spezia youth academy, going on loan to Cosenza, and sold to Club Brugge for €8m plus bonuses in the summer of 2019.

Able to play in several attacking roles, Okereke scored four goals in 25 Jupiler Pro League games last season.

Sampdoria had been linked over the last few weeks, but it seems to be Venezia who have snapped up the versatile forward, who can work as a centre-forward, on the right or left.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Messi joining PSG is subject to the EU ruling on a complaint filed by Barcelona, against PSG, wanting to sign him,

And the complaint is right, and it's due to F.F.P

It's good you clarified this, these "foreign borns" are just Nigerians with foreign passports.

But then you went ahead to say absorbing their country of birth's idiosyncrasies makes them unnigerian.

Brother this is football, not a political position. Why do they need to identify with Nigerians to kick a ball about?

Does Osimhen identify with the Italians? No. But he plays in Italy.
Does Ejuke identify with the Russians? No. But he plays in Russia.
Does Onyekuru identify with the Greeks? No. But he plays in Greece.

Football is a language on its own, just play with your legs and forget the language, skin colour or nationality.

Secondly, you brought the case that so-called "foreign borns" are luxury additions and do not improve the Super Eagles anyway, but I disagree on two fronts.

1. All of the foreign-born players brought into the Super Eagles in the last 3 years have significantly improved their respective positions.

Goalkeeping. (Okoye - Currently most Valuable young goalie in Netherlands)

Defense. (Balogun, Ekong - Both play at the highest level)

Right-back. (Ebuhehi - rated as our best fullback by many on this thread)

Central Midfield. - Aribo - Scored more international goals than any Nigerian CM in the past 4 years.

Attacking Midfield/Winger - Iwobi(Lagos born) - Since his debut in 2015, only Ighalo has scored more international goals.

Striker - None

2. The so-called foreign borns have not taken us to the next level only because we have chosen those that match our mediocrity rather than the best.

The real Nigerian talents born with dual nationalities have always slipped our grasps while we are left with the crumbs.

Look at the case of Iwobi, we had to cap him before he even made his club debut, so as to scupper any English poaching.

If you really doubt the quality of foreign borns, tell the house if you think players like Adeyemi, Madueke, Saka, Dele, Danjuma, Eze, Tammy etc, would not increase the standard of the Super Eagles.

Without mincing words I want you to understand from this juncture that I am a very strong Pan Africanist , who believe that we must put Africa first in everything we do. If my heroes are persons like Thomas Sankara , Malcolm X and Marcus Garvey and Louis Farakhan then you should save yourselves the headache of engaging me. I am so deeply African its unbelievable!

Now , to address this thing you wrote: I still don't understand your Osimhen and co examples.... What exactly are you trying to prove. Osimhen is a gifted Nigerian player who was contracted by Napoli. I am confused; what is the lesson ?

I still maintain my position on the foreign born. They add nothing to SE , rather they are using us to sell themselves to European clubs while our own are languishing in the Europe third world countries. Balogun , Ekong , Ebuehi and Aina has benefited from playing for SE, yet they havent won even a plastic cup. Aribo is over hyped by ROHR and has not added anything to the team...Nwakali is miles ahead of him. Iwobi is still learning how to play a 10 since he started playing for us. He can be easily replaced....he isn't better that Onyekuru.

These foreign born use us as last resort...and that's shameful. They will never touch a Nigerian woman with a long pole, they do not invest in Nigeria and will never return home. So, whats the point ? I am sorry , but I will not apologize for thinking highly of my mothers land.

You want to rush and cap players in europe academies while we have talents littered across Nigeria who are a million times better than these crappy English boys.

But , you write a lot of senseless shiiit ooo....did you say we refused to get the best FB and settled for mediocre. You must not have been following recent happening....Abraham rejected Nigeria and mocked us openly , Saka rejected Nigeria , Eze rejected us , Torunarigha rejected us...No high flying foreign born will ever agree to play for Nigeria. They mostly marry oyibo or mixed....these ppunks feel our women are inferior !

I think we should stop the discrimination here. We select the best should be the criteria for selection. Not where you are born. I will only prefer home grown selection for underage teams to help many here who lack support to succeed.

However, I still propose large camping and screening exercises from time to time to select the best that suit the system of the coach. Not colour of skin or place of birth.

It is disheartening seeing attacks on our brothers because of where they were born.

Don't compare France situation with ours... There's no correlation here... Those sons and daughters of west African immigrants in the French national team were born in France and are a product of the French football system...France own them... Players like Ansu Fati and Adama Traore are in the same category..

Foreign born players can fill the national team for I care... my concern is that our sport administrators shouldn't in the name of chasing foreign borns abandon grassroot sports development back home...Some of the time and money Pinnick has been spending to travel abroad to convince some FBs to play for us can actually be chanelled into organising competitive friendlies and appointing more competent coaches for our age grade teams..

And by the way, don't you think it's a bit hypocritical of you to constantly bash those who have opposing views as regard the inclusion of FBs into the national team while you yourself are well known for constantly bashing some home grown players.... especially those that came from the league....

Almost (if not all) every natural AM that comes into Europe from Africa are converted to Wingers or Central midfield/Defensive midfield players.

I have extensively spoken on this hundreds upon hundreds of pages ago. Mikel Obi is an example. Lately we have Ziyech, Iwobi etc... all converted into Wingers or sometimes will play as wingbacks.

But hopefully, the likes of Michael Olise comes through for us and with Amoo's development staying on course, I trust his inside right position (RW role) won't see him lose his natural AM touch.

I was in a burial this year and some of the natives blocked us from carrying out our ceremonial rights due to some flimsy reasons. It got to a point I could not take it.

I spoke to their ring leader and told him,

THIS IS MY HOME. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND ME IS THAT I WAS NOT BORN HERE.

It reset his thinking faculty.

These guys, despite where they are born are from here. We have no right to deny them their passion to serve here.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Darren Bent has outlined why Leicester City midfield-enforcer Wilfred Ndidi would be the ideal candidate to bolster Manchester United's midfield options this summer.

United, who get their Premier League campaign under way when they face Leeds United at Old Trafford next weekend, are keen to add a new defensive-minded midfielder to their ranks ahead of the closure of the summer transfer window.

Throughout the summer so far United have been linked with an array of midfielders to strengthen that particular area of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's armoury, including West Ham United's Declan Rice, Ruben Neves of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Atletico Madrid ace Saul Niguez and Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.

But with United keen to add a sense of steel and grit to their midfield options this summer, Ndidi could be the ideal figure, certainly in the eyes of Bent, who believes he could play for any Premier League club.

"I think he’s a top, top player," Bent told talkSPORT. "In terms of the holding midfield role, I think he can get into pretty much any team in the Premier League.

"I think he can easily play in any club in the Premier League in terms of the holding role."

Although Ndidi has not been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, he could be the perfect player for what Solskjaer is after. He is excellent both with and without the ball and would most certainly add a layer of protection to United's defensive-line.

As well as that, Bent has hinted that Ndidi could possibly free up some space for both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes to weave their magic higher up the pitch.

Bent added: "Imagine he went to Manchester United. In the holding role, and then you’ve got Pogba and Fernandes.

"For me, he is brilliant. He covers the back four well, he’s good in possession, and when he has to, he makes some sneaky fouls.

"I don’t honestly understand why no one really has come for him."

Considering that United have already spent £72.9million on luring Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford and are on the verge of landing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane in a deal that could be worth up to £43million, the likelihood of United pulling off a move for England international Rice this summer is slim, with West Ham set to demand around £100million.

In Ndidi's case, it is highly unlikely that Leicester would demand a fee that high for the Nigerian, although you would expect them to receive at least £50million for his services.

Cape Verde is a small archipelago island nation in the Atlantic Ocean off the northwest coast of Africa.
The country is mired in absolute poverty, with 30% of its citizens below the poverty line.
The World Bank estimates that 14% of the population is living in extreme poverty.
With a crisis of this magnitude, the government of Cape Verde is dependent on the receipt of international aid to maintain relative stability (Josh Forget). World Bank.
For a country with a population of less than 600, 000 (562, 583) this is disgraceful. Statistics, not pictures, my guy!

I have been to 3 of these countries and know enough about the others to say with authority what I said. Pics of me in Boavista, Cape Verde and Cairo,Egypt attached. When I went to Namibia I was still a bit young so no pics readily available but trust me in what I have said.

I don't think I understand the bolded part of your post.

Pics taken down...on second thoughts.
