4th of August brethren updates on my 2 dependents standard application. I eventually sent paid mail on Wednesday. Today at about 12:28pm I received a response that the application has been decided and I should send a follow up mail on the 7th of September if I haven’t received my passport. Well I just tracked and both applications for dependents have moved to VAC as at now.

2 years masters programme
School fees per year is £15,000
Maintenance for 9 months (1023*9)= £9207

Before visa application

Deposit before CAS = £3000 (remianing 12k which can be paid installementally)



How much should be minimum balance in statement of account?

Maintenance £9207
Tuition balance for 1st year £12 ,000

Total = £21,207

1-Is this value correct?
Or should the balance include the total fees for the 2 years programme?
Should it also include accommodation or is accommodation already considered in the monthly maintenance cost?

2-
If am to submit on 1 November from what date should the minimum balance have been in my account?
Is it 1st or 3rd September to say 30th September?
Also the statement can it be printed 1 day before submission or can be same day as submission?

3- Can one submit multiple accounts statements if part of the money is applicant and a major part from spouse.

4- After student applicant gets visa can the spouse same account used to support student applicant ...but printing out an updated statement?

5- For kids who are USA citizens and plan to apply same time as spouse must we show sufficient funds for them?

Endeavor to arrive at the airport early if using Lagos.

- The check-in process is manual and crazy slow
- Boarding passes handwritten, luggage belt not working, suitcases everywhere.
- Payment for any suitcase containing food stuffs is 2,000 and you are issued an official receipt by customs.
- Having printed copies of your passenger locator forms and negative covid test helps move the queue along , if not, it is advisable to have a screenshot saved rather than trying to open your email (an S.O.S)
- You show these documents even at the boarding gate
- Complete Nigeria and UK address behind departure card (the one given alongside boarding pass)

2) Is Ghana must go ( the grey type) allowed? - Yes it is

3) Can one travel with electronics e.g TV set? - Yes. Must be checked in. However, why not buy from facebook market place/gumtree. (Except you are making a delivery). It counts as one luggage.

Please double check the Ghana must go because several Airlines put out a notice 2 years ago that they would not check-in Ghana must go.
Also someone asked about Kilishii the other time, Kilishi is meat and since the time of mad cow disease,the UK and other developed nations do not allow passengers to bring meat and dairy product(baby food is exempt). Processed Snails allowed though.

Let me help answer some of your questions and make clarification to the issues.

What you wrote was totally correct, and you do not need to provide POF for subsequent years of studies. Even if your program is 4 years, you only provide one academic POF.
Again, as long as your maintenance fee is in the PoF, you don't need to prove any accomodation as your accommodation is already considered in the monthly maintenance cost.

As for your statement, you can print it today, and it will still be valid till next 31 days to application.
You can have your PoF in multiple statements as long as the accounts belongs to you. If part of the money is in your spouse account, it is supposed that the account should be joint account of you and your spouse.

To your number 4 question, mmmmm, it's a little bit technical but let me try to explain it.
You can not use same account you use for your application to apply for your wife's application since she is applying for student visa. I suggest you transfer the money to her account, to be on the safe side.

To your final question (q.5), You have to show sufficient PoF for each of the child. I don't think the kids being American citizens undermines you from showing their Pof.

No! They don’t have January intake. I was offered admission but couldn’t meet up. If you are looking an affordable university you can try Liverpool hope university too it’s 11400 pounds but I am not so sure if there is an international scholarship discount like other universities do give but I hope so. I just applied sha!!!

The results I have were downloaded from the NCDC site.

The Lab needs to register your information with state and federal to get that bar code. Most labs do that.

Better pay for your day 2 and day 8 tests + quarantine for 10 days when coming from Nigeria as your Nigerian-received vaccination holds no water at this time.
