Sit-At-Home: Warning To IPOB From Delta State Government by Bekermann(m): 11:22pm On May 16, 2022 |
To those trying to force a sit-at-home exercise in Delta, the state government doesn't subscribe to this. OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT GOVERNOR'S OFFICE 16th May, 2022 GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT It has come to the notice of Delta State Government that a certain group of persons is trying to enforce a sit at home order in the State Capital Territory of Asaba and environs. The Government wishes to warn that any such group of persons under the guise of any organization that wants to disrupt the peace currently being enjoyed in Asaba and other neighboring towns will be dealt with accordingly. Security agencies have been put on red alert and have been mandated to ensure that such threats by unscrupulous elements are promptly nipped in the bud. Residents of the state are assured of the state govemment's commitment to ensuring continued peace and security of lives and property and they should go about their lawful duties without fear. This letter is not necessary at all. Best is to ignore the news about sit at home and continue your daily activities... This letter will complicate the issue and create an Impression that there might be clash between UGM and security forces in Delta State thereby making the masses to hide at home to avoid becoming victims of the clash and again making the UGM to achieve their purpose.... Common sense is not really common. Silence is golden.. There are some issues you solve with silence rather than threat or warning.. 280 Likes 20 Shares |

slivertongue:Ipob isn't about release Of KANU and realization Of biafra. its about the opportunity to legitimize these vices by criminals:kidnappings, vehicle snatching, extortion of money from big men in d name of KANU release sponsors, a friends dad was taxed at his hotel room at nnewi 500k by ipob group looking for finance to carry out "duties" They were informed by some people that big men were lodging there. He paid for fear of being asked to go with them. seizing of cars in d name of supporting "Biafra enforcers movement", which are sold in d forest, looting, robbery. Ipob know their people are relocating to delta, so they are just looking for way to extend criminality to their people in delta. See their plot; delta north is part of Biafra cos they speak ibo in most parts, so therefore they are Igbo's too. Truth is Ika and ukwuani aren't ibo. Lastly, Ipob stay away from delta and fellow south states, we craze pass una. and KANU will rot in jail.Take ur u.g.m ESN to abuja, fight and break - release KANU from jail. Na there Una enemies dey, not unarmed Igbo civilians 95 Likes 11 Shares |

Just imagine.... Look the best treatment is the Wike treatment and since Wike dealt with them they haven't dared to resurface anywhere in Rivers State again. Imagine if Wike didn't have the foresight to do that, ipob and UGM would've been having a field day killing people in Rivers like they're currently doing in Anambra. pinkPUSSY: 38 Likes 4 Shares |

kingjiss: Abi oh. They're trying to infiltrate the Delta with their silly antics. In the west is characterized by senseless ritual killings, in the north is banditry and religious fanatism. IPOB and their UGM partners should keep their madness to themselves in the east. They shouldn't come and disturb the peace of the South-South. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

U see Edo and Akwaibom states? Ipob should keep their flags there too...Omote and Nsima can’t be instigating violence in southeast and think their land should be free of violence. And never have I seen or heard of indigenes of these states disowning or lashing those two. Rather what we get are silence and deep seated happiness that southeast is being destroyed Ipob aka unknown gunmen should stay out of Asaba 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Re: Sit-At-Home: Warning To IPOB From Delta State Government by Nobody: 7:15am On May 17, 2022 |
pinkPUSSY: It is necessary because perception is very crucial. The Delta State government needs to do a press release to show that it's aware of what is going on instead of remaining quiet. This was exactly how it started in Owerri with rumours of UGM attack on schools and parents rushing to bring home their kids. Sit-at-home has become very unpopular with the masses in the East and is only obeyed out of fear so I don't think Asaba people will want it which will make it easy for law enforcement agencies to work effectively. I pray it doesn't escalate in Asaba because we can't lose completely all round, the losses by businesses in Onitsha has become gains for those in Asaba due to peace there and since both are Igbo cities, I'm happy for them. 11 Likes |
