PDP has certainly won this time....apc is losing it.

The party that needs work done is LP. Yes, governorship is not presidential...but if LP can only mobilise less than 150 votes for their candidate, that's a lot of work that needs doing.

LP cannot assume that PDP and APC supporters would vote Obi next year. Some would, but most would go for PDP in my opinion. They better act like all the Osun state is undecided, and work well well.

You should not use this election (especially, this particular one) to determine the direction in which votes will swing in the Southwest in 2023.

First of all, the Yorubas are very unpredictable which explains why election results are usually always close between PDP and APC.

Second, this is the first time since the return to democracy that a prominent Yoruba politician is on the ballot. The only other time, in 1999, Obasanjo was up against a fellow Yoruba man in a 2-party system.

So, anyone who underrates Tinubu's chances in the Southwest is doing so too early.

I told people that when we insisted on electronic transmission of results from polling units before the very eyes of everyone, we knew that would bring about the end of APC rigging. Now, election results can be trusted. The only form of rigging now is vote buying, they cannot change the result because it has already been uploaded on INEC election web from the card reader machines, duplicate copy in hard copy is what they now return to collation centres. Before now, midway to collation centres, results are swapped and figures inflated. Now, it is over, the polling units upload their results witnessed by all agents to inec central server. That is the end of rigging. If free and fair elections are allowed, people like Tinubu and Boko Haram Master can't win

Bro. I am no supporter of any political party. But from your posts on Nairaland, I guess u are an APC supporter. Pls this people have performed and are performing woefully. Take a look at the price of commodities, things are just too expensive. I know two close friends who nearly committed suicide because of the country's economic situation. Insecurity everywhere and this isn't the change APC promised us.
Let's for once get rid of APC and go back to the status quo or better still a new political party. The suffering is too much out there.
APC promised to turn things around but it's just as if they increased our problems. Food and other essential commodities are too expensive.
Baba I beg let's try and judge things with our conscience. I don't know if you are been paid by APC or not but please kindly judge current happenings with your church mind.
People are really groaning but there is little we can do except by voting out the incompetent government.
If APC loose supporters maybe they can go back to the drawing board and correct their wrong doings before another election. They have messed things up big time. We complained of corruption in PDP yet APC is worst even in security and other sectors of the economy.
