I'm actually not a Yoruba but I've lived in Yoruba land, Lagos precisely for long

Any Yoruba man or woman campaigning for Obi should have a rethink and retrace their step back. Though this isn't supposed to be so but you see those IGBOS have turned this election to tribalistic one. They have even turn it to religious one

I will support and vote for Tinubu. He has more achievements, antecedents and legacies to point at as a governor and when he left government than EVERY other contestants

Tinubu is very much accommodating and tolerance than other contestants. IGBOS are taking political position in Lagos. IGBOS are civil servants in Lagos and other South western states. IGBOS are doing businesses freely in Lagos and other south western region

Please go to any eastern state to see if you'd see any Yoruba or Hausa man as ordinary councillor. It is a TABOO to the Igbo

ACHIEVEMENT- I WILL VOTE TINUBU
TOLERANCE & ACCOMMODATING- I WILL VOTE TINUBU

For the northerners who reside in the north you can ask any of your family or friends living in Lagos and other South western states they will tell you how Yoruba are so friendly, loving and accommodating. Go to the state headquarter at Alausa ikeja you'll see igbos holding top position without any discrimination

Go to east and see how all positions are occupied completely by all igbos.

An average IGBOS are resentful, spiteful, hateful, bittered et al. They literally see themselves better, superior and more sophisticated than other tribes.

PLEASE verify this my claim if you aren't aware of it and make a decision on who to campaign and vote for

I leave you to your conscience!!!

You need a brain check dude.

Let's assume all the lies you posted about Tinubu were actually true, the mere fact that he's a an octogenarian with serious health challenges and also has held Lagos by the balls, siphoning its funds for his private use has disqualified him completely. We don't want a sickly, old, tyrannical embezzler as the president of this country when there's a more capable youth in person of Peter Obi with a proven track record.

If you're a youth and thinking of selling you conscience and voting Tinubu cos of the pittance he will offer you as inducement, then you really need a brain check.

Wow, that will be yummy. With banga extract, there will be no need to add any other thickener sef.

You have to oooh, or else it will be watery. It's not the same process of steaming the extract used in banga soup that you use in onugbu soup.
For bitterleaf instead of steaming the palmnut extracts till it thickens, you use it in its watery form. You add mix the cocoyam with the palmnut extracts to start cooking immediately.

Steaming the extract till it thickens will give you a totally different taste that is unlike bitterleaf soup, it will taste like ofeakwu...

Your state governors and others in South East are far worse than Tinubu and every other governors in Nigeria. Your region South East is the most underdeveloped in Nigeria. Your governors have milk y'all dry completely reason why y'all keep running to Lagos for survival. The same Lagos that Tinubu govern for good 8 years o. Why are people not trooping to your barren region as y'all do in Lagos and even Ogun State biko?

No politicians is pure but trust me your governors are worse than Tinubu and every other governors in Nigeria

Cocoyam... And if you really want the real taste, kindly use home prepared oil directly from the palmnut not just the red oil

More importantly, use ogiri Igbo, not ogiri okpei.

Kindly resist adding any other vegetables, just use the normal bitterleaf.

You've refused to tackle the most critical question about Tinubu but rather beat about the bush.

I ask you a pertinent question; Is a sickly octogenarian with the most shady past the person Nigeria can afford to have as a president at this critical time? But you'd rather choose the petty option of lying against the south east when all statistics and indices point to fact that the south west is the most backward region apart from Lagos which was built with the sweat of all Nigerians mostly Igbos.

I am glad that the Nigerian youth have awoken and are speaking with one voice, the outcome and winner of the next presidential election will be determined by them. Let me see how a corrupt, sickly, half dead man would become the president of this country. Rather let him become the president of you, your family and your entire clan and your village.

Tiger nuts also known as Ofio in Yoruba language in English it's having a dual name; yellow nutsedge, or earth almonds — are not actually nuts, but rather edible tubers.
They’re the size of a chickpea but wrinkly with a chewy texture and sweet nutty flavor similar to coconut.
Tiger nuts were one of the first plants cultivated in Egypt and traditionally used as both food and medicine.
They’re rich in a variety of nutrients and have been linked to several health benefits — ranging from better digestion to a reduced risk of heart disease.

Here are 5 Emerging health benefits of TIGERNUT MILK

1. Rich in nutrients
Tiger nuts contain a variety of nutrients and beneficial plant compounds.

Their specific nutrient content depends on the type. There are three main varieties of tiger nuts:

black
brown
yellow
Calories: 143
Fiber: 9 grams
Carbs: 19 grams
Protein: 1 gram
Fat: 7 grams
Iron: 1–2%
Phosphorus: 5–6%
Vitamin C:
Magnesium: 7%
Zinc: 5–7%
Potassium: 3–5%
Calcium: 1%
Tiger nuts are also a rich source of antioxidants, which are beneficial compounds that protect your body against aging and diseases like cancer and heart disease.

Research shows that germinating tiger nuts prior to eating them increases their antioxidant contents

That said, tiger nuts also contain antinutrients, such as phytates, oxalates, saponins, and tannins, which can reduce nutrient absorption in your gut.

Germinating or roasting the tubers prior to eating reduces their anti nutrient levels, making it easier for your body to absorb and use the many nutrients they contain.

SUMMARY
Tiger nuts are tubers rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial plant compounds. Germinating or roasting tiger nuts prior to eating them can boost their antioxidant levels and improve your body’s ability to absorb its nutrients.

2. May improve digestion
Tiger nuts may promote healthy digestion in various ways.

For starters, they’re high in insoluble fiber, which passes through your gut without being digested. Insoluble fiber adds bulk to your stools and helps food move through your gut easily, reducing the likelihood of constipation.

Tiger nuts are also presumed to contain resistant starch, a type of fiber that can feed the friendly bacteria in your gut, helping your digestion run smoothly.

Moreover, tiger nuts may contain enzymes, such as catalases, lipases, and amylases, which help break down foods in your gut, relieving gas, indigestion, and diarrhea.

Keep in mind that the high fiber content of tiger nuts may initially cause unpleasant gas or bloating. Those interested in trying them should increase their portions gradually.

SUMMARY

Tiger nuts are a good source of insoluble fiber, which can prevent constipation and help your digestion run smoothly. Add them to your diet gradually to avoid unpleasant gas or bloating.

3. May reduce blood sugar levels
Tiger nuts may help keep your blood sugar levels in check.

Animal studies show that tiger nut extract may help reduce blood sugar levels. This may, in large part, be due to the high fiber content of the tubers, which may slow down the absorption of sugar in the gut.

The protein in tiger nuts also contains a high proportion of the amino acid arginine, which may increase insulin production and sensitivity, both of which are important for blood sugar management.

It should be noted, however, that the amount of arginine used in the cited human study (9 grams) is much higher than the amount you’ll find in a single serving of tiger nuts, which contains 1 gram of protein.

Moreover, test-tube studies show that tiger nut extract may inhibit the action of carb-digesting enzymes in your gut.

As a result, less sugar may be absorbed from your gut in a way similar to the action of some blood-sugar-lowering diabetic medications. This is thought to potentially lower blood sugar levels, though more research in humans is needed.

SUMMARY
Tiger nuts are rich in fiber and arginine, both of which can contribute to lower blood sugar levels. They also contain compounds that may reduce how much sugar is absorbed in your gut after a carb-rich meal.

4. May improve heart health
Tiger nuts may also be good for the health of your heart.

That’s partly because of the high amount of monounsaturated fats they contain, which give them a fat profile similar to that of heart-healthy olive oil.

Diets rich in monounsaturated fats are linked to lower levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol and higher levels of HDL (good) cholesterol. They are also associated with a lower risk of heart attack, stroke, and death from heart disease.

Research also links tiger nuts to better blood circulation and a lower likelihood of blood clots — both of which can reduce your risk of heart disease.

Tiger nuts are rich in heart-healthy fats. They may improve vein and artery flexibility and blood circulation, which may reduce your risk of heart disease.

5. May boost your immune system and help fight infections
Tiger nuts may contribute to a stronger immune system.

In one test-tube study, tiger nut extracts were tested against several types of bacteria that can cause an infection in humans. The extract was effective against E. coli, Staphylococcus, and Salmonella bacteria.

Another cell study found similar results. The researchers added that tiger nut extracts might also be effective at fighting antibiotic-resistant.
