A day ago a Singaporean ship gut stuck inside the narrow Suez Canal ans blocked it for a brief time. We all remember how last year the Eve Given ship that damaged world commerce as it blocked that same canal for days.
Well, Russia has been working hard since 2017 in developing a new route via the melting ice of the arctic and China is also looking into that new, faster and less problematic route. America is rushing to appoint an ambassador to the arctics as it understands the new situation.
A new world order is being formed. The current US administration is sleeping. The other giants are moving fast.
