Here is the thing, you guys are quick to forget the origin of the enmity between Rhaenyra and Alicent. It started the moment Alicent on the advice/order of her father, stylishly inserted herself into the royal family. Rhaeneyra, who thought she had a friend in Alicent was shocked, surprised and possibly betrayed. who wouldn't feel that way?
Rhaeneyra since her birth has had a cloud over her and seen as no one that could never rule. It took the death of her mother for the king to finally and reluctantly make her the heir. Now, after years of Rhaeneyra's struggle and when she's finally seeing the light and getting some love from her father, Alicent came in to steal the show.
Alicent being the queen is now more powerful and could determine the fate of Rhaeneyra if she wanted to.
Alicient had no right to ask Rhaeneyra if she was a virgin. If she had given her the truth, if would have been the end of Rhaeneyra there. She wasn't asking as a friend. she was asking because she wanted to have more information. Information/knowledge gives you an edge.
If we reason this matter Alicent is a better woman than Rhaenyra. -
I don't agree with this comment. How is she a better woman? because she didn't sleep with her guard? Rhaeneyra has always been in a tight position.
Did you know that Rhaenyra had to marry a gay? Hence, for her to procreate, she must be in bed with a straight man. Did you know the marriage was political and not what she wanted?

Alicent commited the bigger evil in my opinion.
It's a stupid question to me to ask if Rhaenyra and Criston Coke had carnal knowledge. People that were already estranged with one another and now competitors for the love and attention of the King as well the key to the future heir.

How people realistically expect her to tell the truth on that spot still dey shock me. It's the 7th wonder of the world. I go use all my family members lie if I were in that position. To me na self righteous noise ppl just dey make.

Even King Viserys when he angrily relieved Otto Hightower of his duties as the Hand, he basically said how strategic and seemingly innocuous placing Alicent close to him at the time of his wife's death was. Anyone saying that Alicent didn't seduce the King and he fell in love with her willingly either dey dreamland or him no understand wetin him watch.
Person wey her papa specifically say make she wear her dead mother's dress gon sef go see Igwe.

The weyrey no even quickly come clean to Rhaenyra to tell her anything but waited till the D-day when the King announced his new wife to the council. If that's not cruelty, I no know Wetin e mean. Person wey u claim say na your best friend. A grieving and fragile person sef oo with so many responsibilities weighing her down. Na God know whether me and you go remain friends if no be enemies sef for life after that rubbish stunt.

It seems it's beauty and action some ppl watch in the show and not nuance or tiny details.

Yep. It's mainly to placate fans for that painful season.

Can't wait for other spinoff announcement especially 10,000 ships and prolly the animated Yi Ti Empire serial.

I'm not really even hyped for it cos I no know Wetin dem wan tell us cos his arc or story seemed done plausible justice.
What we really wanna know is what Drogon did with his Queen's body after taking off with it.
I'm not too keen on revisiting Westeros in that same era as GOT.

Yeah, the Dany turn wasn't even one of the bad parts of S8. The anticlimactic ending to the Night King Saga was the first big issue. That final council meeting was the nail in the coffin.

This is was the main problem and everything just went to sh!t from there. The Battle with the Night King should have been the "Mother of all Battles" in the entire history of Tv series across any genre. I mean the character development was actually Voldemort and Thanos level. To even speak his name in westeros sent shivers, I completely lost my sh!t when he turned Viserion into a wight, that's like , one of the greatest wow moment in Tv series history, so to see how all these character development ended with that piss poor dark af battle was a great disservice and left a bitter taste.

I found about 37 top shows I've watched or planned to watch someday soon. From the shows listed it's a credible list. Half of these shows will easily get into any top 50-100 list except maybe some of the 60-80s shows or procedurals I might have issh with. Well, each person with his own taste.

It's a credible list.... Almost half of these I've seen over the years on other top 50+ shows listings from other prestigious journals. I mainly find issue with its poor listing of GOT but I understand and know it's Rolling Stones' bias.
It's a great list especially the Top 50 section.

Apparently, the Night King threat could have been solved since by sending the faceless men to kill him. D & D no rate us at all. Spent the bulk of the budget building set for the destruction of King's Landing instead of paying for better lighting for that battle.

After my opinion post, Baba vex talk say e no rate The Wire again. He said he found out most people have it on their great list of all time mostly because critics say so. Hence, he's removed it from his watchlist as he just found out it wasn't his taste or what he likes.
Person wey dey mouth off recently say when he sees good content he'll know just by observing it. He knows when something is worth "his time". How come you missed this while being in your "most revered" premium watchlist for some time?

Guess he deleted the post after he reason the okoto.

One thing he keeps missing is you might not have watched something or didn't appreciate something while you did watch it, doesn't negate the fact that other ppl enjoyed and revered it. I haven't watched Breaking Bad but I know well not to bad mouth it cos that show will easily sit on any top 5 show of all time, no cap. If that many people say something is that good, I don't think you're island of knowledge to claim you know better than them.

In ten years time I don't think the next generation will keep our opinion of Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad being one of the best TV shows of all time if not the best.

It's what is in the zeitgeist you'd start hearing.
At some point The Wire and The Sopranos held that record no one thought they'd be bested in a few decades.
