TRIBUNAL ACCEPTS BVAS REPORTS SHOWING OVER-VOTING AGAINST ADELEKE.

Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has admitted in evidence, [b]the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) reports showing the over-voting in favour of Ademola Adeleke during the July 16 governorship election in the state.

The tribunal, led by Justice Tertsea Kume also admitted in evidence Adeleke’s Diploma Certificate from Penn Foster High School, B.Sc Certificate from Atlanta Metropolitan State College, Letter of Attestation dated 22/5/2016 from Ede Muslim High School, NYSC Certificate of Exception and some other documents as exhibits.

Also admitted are, forms EC8As, for Olorunda, Obokun and Ila local governments, forms EC8Bs which are results of the wards and forms EC8Cs - the results of each of the 10 local governments being challenged, forms EC8D which is the summary of the overall result, EC8Es the declaration of the result and form EC9.

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress (APC) are challenging the declaration of Adeleke by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as winner of the election in 10 local government areas, just as it is also challenging his qualification to stand for the election.

At the resumed hearing of the petition on Thursday, counsel for Oyetola, Dr. Saka Layoonu (SAN) tendered additional documentary evidence, including the CTC of the much celebrated BVAS reports which indicated that the number of accredited voters is lower than the total number of votes cast in the said councils.

Layoonu, while formally tendering the documents, informed the court that the evidence had been jointly cross-checked by both parties and the secretariat of the tribunal and confirmed to be accurate.

Respondents’ counsels, Jamiu Olabode (INEC), Niyi Owolade (Adeleke) and Nathaniel Oke, SAN (PDP) objected to the admissibility of the documents and indicated that they would canvass arguments in the final written addresses.

The tribunal, in its ruling admitted the documents in evidence, marked them as exhibits and adjourned till November 16.

Earlier, the PDP counsel, Oke raised the alarm before the court alleging that the media reports being circulated were not actually what transpired in court, saying, “My Lords, we are not comfortable with the reports of proceedings by pressmen in this court”.

But the tribunal Chairman, while responding asked for evidence, hard facts to that effect.

The panel further said it was unaware of any inaccurate reportage of its proceedings, saying, “we can’t comment on what we don’t know, unless you come up with hard facts. We are not here for social media commentaries.”

Despite the heavy/mass defection going on in the north from Ruling APC party to opposition PDP, there are still few people in the NE and NW who would like to vote for APC, but those few ones are switching their loyalty to Atiku due to what they perceive as an attack by southerners who are victimizing Atiku due to his ethnicity..

Atiku is getting more sympathy votes from the north, plus the fact that he has realised that he has lost his base to L.P. hence his desperation to penetrate northern region using all political tools available since this is his last chance to contest election..

The issue became so complex when Seyi Makinde who should be working for his party PDP declared his support for Tinubu because of tribal affiliation..

Meanwhile...
REASONS WHY I WILL VOTE FOR PETER OBI.

1. He will block off all the financial leakages in the country, both the official leakages and the unofficial/illegal leakages.

2. He will definitely find ways to start making people to stop hoping to become rich while they are Not doing anything - the spirit of working and investment will be cultivated in Nigeria, and the spirit of showing off and huge spendings would die off. People would now be counted due to what they do, and not how much money they spend.

3. He is more interested in developing the people of Nigeria more than he is interested in erecting incessant and unnecessary physical infrastructures, or in spending the money of Nigeria on frivolities. NO.. but he is more interested in developing the people of Nigeria (through things like education, and paying-per-hour policy). Though the physical infrastructures are good, but they are not all necessary for it be the sole purpose of his Government. He can only do the development of physical infrastructures when they are really supposed to serve the priority needs of the people. (That is, physical infrastructures such as power, education, and healthcare facilities.)
(He is not the type of president that would rush to build infrastructure projects in a locality where such projects are not the priority necessity of the people there).

4. Peter Obi is the only accessible Candidate. We hear from him directly. He is close to his social media followers and to the mainstream media too. (We don't want Presidents who are hiding away from people. Presidents who are always reaching to us through aides and assistants and cronies. And presidents whom we would continue to guess what exactly they have inside their minds at all times.)

Oyetola is really pained. Well, this case will be an eye opener on BVAS, let's see if it can be manipulated or Oyetola is just consoling himself.

Tribunal: Nothing to Celebrate in APC Documents Presentation; Adeleke Counsel, Osun PDP

We want to note that we have been silent on Tribunal matters for the past few days in observance of the mourning of the sad exit of our Son, Ifeanyi Davido. We however find it necessary to correct the falsehood being spread by the APC over the Tribunal proceedings.

We affirm that ongoing tendering of documents by counsel to Mr Gboyega Oyetola is not in anyway an indication of judicial victory over Senator Ademola Adeleke. In any case, before the law today, APC had no candidate for the July 16th election.

Counsel to the Governor elect, Nathaniel Oke, SAN and Osun State Chairman of the PDP have both clarified this position after today's proceeding at the Osun State Governorship Tribunal. Mr Oke narrated that the petitioners are currently presenting their case which includes presentation of documents relating to the electoral processes.

" The petitioners have time allotted to them. We will be challenging the admissibility of many of the submitted documents in our final address after which the panel will deliver ruling in their judgements. This implies that there is nothing special or spectacular about the ongoing presentation.

" We should all be aware that after the petitioners have presented their case, the defence team will take turn to also make presentation. We will also present documents, call witnesses and submit hard materials. Our case suffers no setback as nothing has happened that signify any positive turn of event for the petitioner", Mr Oke explained.

The defence team further berated the APC for engaging in media trial by pretending to be achieving mileage when the so called documents are just results sheets duly signed by APC agents and purpurted BVAS report.

Rather than submitting the documents at a sitting, the APC further staggered the submissions across three days in a bid to sustain false narrative of good showing at the Tribunal. We accused the APC of a failed bid to win public symphathy as the exercise further confirms that Governor Oyetola has no chance of stopping the will of Osun people from materialising.

Also speaking on the subject, the Osun State PDP Caretaker Chairman, Dr Adekunle Akindele said the party was silent since yesterday on the court proceedings because of the bereavement within the Adeleke family, wondering why APC operatives are embarking on false propaganda at a time of mourning for a prominent son of Osun state.

" We have remained silent on the court matter because these are trying days for a top son of Osun state, Mr Davido and the entire Adeleke family. Let me reassure our people that Mr Oyetola is just continuing his failed media propaganda as nothing incriminating or damaging has happened to our Governor-elect at the Tribunal.

" Our defence remains as solid as ever. The victory of PDP is a reality that cannot be upturned by a man who is not even a candidate in the election he is challenging", the party Chairman stated.

He noted that "it is elementary that in judicial proceedings, petitioner and defence teams normally have allotted time to present their cases", wondering "what tickles petitioners with mere documents presentation at the Tribunal.

"It is even surprising that the outgoing Governor and his APC who earlier declared that the petition will be the fastest are those now playing at the Tribunal while their time wastes away, yet dishing out lies and false narratives to members of the public in their desperate media voyage".

" Let them know they are chasing shadows. Osun people have decided", the party Chairman concluded.

E-Signed

Mallam Olawale Rasheed,

Spokesperson to the Governor-elect.

Odi Aye Atunwa fun Oyetola Ati APC ni ipinle Osun. Oyetola case in the tribunal court of justice will be dismissed for lacking merit in the court of justice . Besides Oyetola has been disqualified as the APC governorship candidate in the federal high court in Abuja and Appeal court of justice will sustained the judgement too.
