Arrewa:Me I don't preach North or South but your mentioned of derivativion is flawed, because if we were practicing true federalism most of the states up north won't get half what you are currently getting. Yes there are alot potential up which are not being tapped right now because of easy money from the south. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Arrewa:You still did all these you term as achievement with oil money despite the fact you didn't have oil then, no state in this country can survive without oil money except maybe Lagos, The fact still remained that North and Northerners benefited from oil money in this country more than the most southern States. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Arrewa:Maybe this will pave the way for true restructuring of the country, anyway restructure is the reason I am voting for atiku because he is the only candidate that speaks my language. Plus oil is not the future, renewable energy is the future we are still lacking behind. |

Re: The first Oil Field In Northern Nigeria (Photos) by Nobody: 12:35pm On Nov 22, 2022 |
chysam: Nope. They still have to export the oil...and a united Nigeria means that they won't pay something called transit fees to export their oil. Every landlocked country with oil or gas has to pay transit fees to the country though which the pipeline passes. (Sudan was charging $32 per barrel of oil for every barrel of South sudan oil that passed their land one time). Nigeria is a contraption, as are most African countries. If it divides today, I prolly won't lose sleep. But the truth is, there are benefits from being in the contraption. The North needs free export route, the South needs Northern food and grains. Plus, where are we going to divide the nation. (Biafra if we follow the old division is also a british made contraption.) 2 Likes |

[quote author=StrongandMighty post=118591994]Nice [/quotes Nice, but who owns this Kolmani Oilfield we are talking about? Is it the State,or Federal Govt or Joint Oil- Explorations of other Companies? Who are they? How far is it from the other Oil Pipeline,so as to access it's viability for future production? Nigeria is a great Country,if we all allowed -justice fairness, equity and love amongst the Nigerians by those in authority because many times those in authority do practice- tribalism, ethnicity and sow wickedness, just to make Nigeria difficult and this should not be! Nigerians are looking forward to its blossomness! Goodluck! |
