If you believe that story, then I have a bridge at Abagana to sell you. Why will "hundreds" Wagner want to attck a US Special Forces outpost in Syria in the 1st place? What was the motive? Keep in mind that the Russians already had a powerful force stationed in Syria, including Russian KSSO units (Russian SOCOM troops) and could've inflicted a world of hurt if they needed to.
