On here,
I have always suggested for persons who got refused not to apply immediately. i do not know why there is always a desperation or urgency.

If you are refused a visa, just take your time and address the issues , even when we all know some decisions are baseless , address it!

As for recent refusals, trust me, there are more refusals unsaid than the true applications, this Uk eco's; we commit them to God's hands in 2023.

how will one address issue like this, when you are told you have got no right to appeal. In my own case, after i got the 1st refusal, i didn't apply again until after one year. I supported my application with the necessary documents relating to my investment, at least to clear their doubts, yet i still got denied. To say that my husband is a citizen is another point for concern.

Hello house, I’m still waiting to see what y’all think I should do about the refusal
dalobaba:
Hello House!

My refusal came in this afternoon! Please kindly read and react to it. See below

REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0
You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.
In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor- rules), I have considered:

your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it

your immigration history

The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph V4.2 of Appendix V because:
You State that you intend to travel to the UK to visit your relative. You state that you are self- employed, with an annual income of 10,000,000 NGN (£18,228.9 @ exchange rate £1 = 543.836 NGN). You state that you have an additional annual income of 30,000,000 NGN (£54,686.7) from investments and you personally intend to spend £2500 on your trip.
In support of your application you have submitted your incorporation document along with your bank statement. Whilst I note these, your account does not confirm that you are genuinely in receipt of the level of income you declare. It is not possible to determine the origin of the deposits made into the account and whether they are related to your claimed business income, and I note that the evidence submitted does not confirm the income form investments you declare. Whilst I note you have provided a written transactional breakdown, I am not satisfied that you have provided an accurate reflection of your financial circumstances in Nigeria is stated on your application.
Given the above I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted under the visitor route and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules.

NEXT STEPS
In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.

Please note that I submitted a domiciliary account with $5,700 as balance, a company account with 9.5m and a savings with 4.1m

Good day house, please my people I need àn urgent help here. I have just been denied UK visa for the 2nd time.

The first was November last year, then I wasn't married. I applied for visiting visa and I was denied on the basis of insufficient fund. That what I intend spending is disproportionate to my income. Mind you, my boss has undertaken to sponsor the trip as a tradition in our office enabling all staff to embark on all expense paid trip abroad annually with his bank statement attached. In spite of this, I was still denied.

I applied again last month November, to join my husband for the chrstmas holidays. My husband is a UK Citizen, we got married early this year, we were supposed to apply for spousal settlement but the issuance of my new passport with a change of name to my husband's was delayed, which took almost five months. When the passport came out eventually, when decided to apply for 6 months visiting visa to enable me join my husband for Christmas, considering the fact that settlement takes a longer duration. Again I was denied. Their basis was that one the companies I provided is inactive. I had mentioned that I have other passive sources of income, and I supported it with the companies CAC documents, I am a director in both companies. I also included all the evidence of my financial investments including landed assets. They still claimed that they are not satisfied that my intention is genuine. My husband wrote a letter of invitation, we also attached our marriage certificate including wedding pictures. I have sufficient funds in my account, I don't even withdraw money from my salary account. The statement is there for verification, I don't know what else they want me to do. The worst is that, they said I do not have the right to appeal. Please house, what should I do? Your advice will be highly appreciated because I don't know what to do again. Whether I should still write them regardless of the fact I that I don't have the right to appeal. Note that, my travel history is there, I just barely returned from a trip to UAE before I made my application. I have not stayed more than necessary in any country.

That's the norm, you can't appeal.
I would suggest you wait for your husband to apply for you since he is a citizen. The ECO sees you as one who won't be returning to Nigeria because your partner is a citizen.

Your rights to a visa as the wife of a citizen is spouse visa… you probably in their opinion have no other selling points why they should let you circumvent this and not get their high fees from you. Giving you a visit visa whose fees are nothing, you can as well not come back as your husband ties you more to the UK. put in your spousal application, not this.
UAE is also not travel history to them.
Company inactivity on CAC website as reason for denial is not peculiar to you alone.
U can keep up with the visit visa and they’ll keep denying because you have not proven beyond probabilities that you would return. Rara!

Whoever examines your application claims they were unable to determine the source of the funds in your account. He or she was unable to establish if the deposits in your account were from your business transactions or not.

Next time You'll have to compose a letter to detail your earnings relating to your business activities. You will also need to attach supporting documents for your claims. Documents such as contract letters, sales invoices, and receipts.

Sometimes we need to write a letter to clarify some of our documents and stories so that anyone who reads them will be able to understand us, and these people will be able to make a better decision at end of the day.

Hello House,
2 questions
1. How do I change my preferred location for UK visa appointment. I chose TLS VI but want to change to TLS Ikeja. I have not submitted visa application just filing the form online and saving for later.

2. I applied unsuccessfully for Canada visa 3x via VFS and dis biometric capture valid for 10 years since 2021. I have been reading if biometric for UK visa. Do I still have to do biometric again at TLS or do they share data with VFS.

Thanks in advance.

If your husband is working and paying tax. On your own part, considering you had submitted two companies, get both active. Submit your recent bank statements, and every other documents as necessary in additional information space bleep at the eco that would view current application.... state that you have genuinely twice put in application for different purposes to visit the UK just to have it wrongly refused; Citing previous applications, where one was for work and second to visit your partner.
Explain that because of your businesses back home you and you husband agree that now is not the right time to join him on the spousal visa, yet you both agree a visit is necessary, which is why you are applying for a short-term visa. Stress further that you intend to return to your businesses at the end of your visit to your husband.
That additional space be very clear and firm. Don't be abusive, don't be religious, just stake your points and ask why if you and your husband can afford the budget without seeking recourse to public funds, what the ECO are actually doing..

If her husband is british, why is she not applying for visa to join him even though she might want to remain in nigeria.....

that way she wont have to keep applying for visit visa that will expire and require renewal

Spousal visa takes time, sometime around 3-6months.
Compared to the visit visa that would be valid for 6months and she gets a decision within weeks.. Also the Husband might not meet all the criteria for them to go with that route, so a short-term visa would be a good temporary fix, whilst they work on a better option.

Goodevening.

I think we need to create spaces for people to understand visa categories, and what best suit their applications.
I also think bogus documentation and eventual submission affects visa success.

How do we discuss these issues elaborately, because i see some people say they used three bank statements for one application.
These things need be discussed along other issues to be raised.

Obviously for the longterm, but here the op wishes to be and spend the Xmas with the partner, and going by the time she put in the application, she would not have gotten the visa to have her wishes, yet with two denials that won't happen either unless she has the funds and she could still be with the husband for 01.01.2023, put in an application, press super priority/or priority and booom
