Will you shot up, Rivers in bigger than Lagos in size, Lagos enjoy federal government development over the years and the majority of the people live in slump. Despite the huge population in Lagos, they're have not just the proper usage of their IGR, poor infrastructures everywhere. Please travel and learn. You people don't see anything good in other people, bif it's not your tribe person. I know you people very well. YeeboMuslim: |

SUNNINO: You are too dull to understand that population is the most important factor when it comes to resource mobilization, distribution and utilisation Who is talking about empty land mass? What has Rivers done with her huge IGR and oil derivation revenue?? By the way , don't project your insecurity on me . You are the loser who brought Rivers into the discussion. It is typical of you osu to do that. You are always ashamed to mention your state but quick to bring Lagos down by comparing it with worthless states |

Care to tell us about it Any urban mass transport like the BRT in Lagos ?? Is Rivers water transportation as developed as Lagos' ? Guy , you are osu being moved by bad belle ism Gbajabiamila already told Wike that there are thousands of bridges in Lagos I'm sure you are currently saving up to come to obodo Lagos . Why not Rivers with more advanced infrastructures No state compares with Lagos not even the FCT. Know this and know peace 1 Like |

AmuDimpka: Perhaps you meant to argue that Rivers built more bridges. And even at that, you are wrong. For all the eight years Wike has used, he's not built/being building as much as ten bridges. Check out how many Sanwo Olu has facilitated in his first term alone. And they were not merely construction to save the skyline but necessities; remember, LAGOS is so populated with them already. |

watchindelta: Liar. You guys just talk anything shamelessly that one wonders if actually sense exist in some of you. So in your Europe, they finished up whatever project before planting it in the location of choice? Or how won't people know? Don't they announce traffic diversion, public safety precautions and all, and updating the populace about the progress. I doubt you'd ever step out abroad otherwise you'd have known you're sounding retarded. SMH. So much for trying to discredit something. |

Re: Launch Of The First Beam Of The Opebi-Mende Link Bridge (Photos) by PHAYOL81: 10:44pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
watchindelta: In Europe too, projects update are periodic. They keep letting the populace be aware of how far they've gone and how much time the projects are expected to be concluded. Point is, each project being undertaken would always have direct effect on some people and the contractors, as well as the authority, therefore have to continually ensure those affected are soothed with assistance and sensitized with sensitive info they may need. They don't keep their citizens in the dark. They make info available on all media platforms that everyone may be carried along. Remember, its taxpayers money and they hold the rights to know how their taxes are utilized. |
Re: Launch Of The First Beam Of The Opebi-Mende Link Bridge (Photos) by PHAYOL81: 11:01pm On Jan 23, 2023 |
AmuDimpka: Already pointed it out: its necessity. Take for instance, five flyovers were at concluding stages across the redline rail project the state's constructing. Each of the zone is a potential traffic convergence hotspot and in other to avert a potential accident that may arise from vehicular traffic sharing right of way with the light train, the govt decided to separate the two so that movement could go on smoothly with neither posing a threat to the other. Another one, this bridge in question. Ikeja is always traffic laden but there is limited route going in/out of the capital. So, the govt had to put on their thinking cap and create a platform that spills traffic outta the capital into three districts in minutes to save travel time. There are other examples and all are necessary projects aimed at reducing commuters stress. Thanks |
