Telex usually comes out after the debit. Send the school a copy of your Form A pending when you have your telex copy.

Hi @Dduches, I filled out the UKVI visa application form and inputted a particular bank name. However, I received a huge sum of money that could raise an alarm that I might not be able to defend. I have another account that has the required amount of money in it and has my details there, can I use the account statement of the second account different from what I filled in while filling out the form?

Your age definitely is a factor. However, I believe you can convince them via your Statement of purpose when applying. You might consider a course that is different from whatt you studied at HND level and try to explain to them that the course you did before no longer hold as much relevance to your current and future career goals, hence, you wish to start afresh in a totally new and relevant discipline. Do well to explain what drives you in the new career path and relate it to your life and goals. Best of lucks!

Had similar issue in my application. School requested I get a letter of attestation from my secondary and university to state that I am the same person as on my passport.

Tell your friend to do the above. Then get a court affidavit. Mind you, I had submitted an affidavit earlier but the school insisted on the attestatioin. Best of luck!

Hello house... I guess I'm at the right place. A family friend reached out to me some minutes ago asking how to go about paying the UK visa fee online, this I have no idea about. She said the payment of $600 showed ' payment refused by bank' from a naira Mastercard. I know this is caused by limit on naira debit card spending. I would appreciate a response on this.

Your years of experience which is over 5 years should be able to help you secure a masters program is great affordable university, you just need to have a great cv + sop.
Age is not a barrier in studying an undergraduate course here. People in their 40s gained admission and are studying a Bsc course.

The name on her passport is the same name on her application but from her certificate name. The name her passport and application is "Majekodunmi Tobiloba Toyin" .

How and why did the school have issues with it? Did she flag it with them when she noticed it? Why did she continue using the name during her school process knowing fully well that it isn't the name on her passport and documents? As it stands, she will have to speak to the school and show evidence that they made the mistake and didn't correct it when it was raised.

I will advice she goes to the bank to resolve the limit. Also ask the rate, if it's official or black market rate that would be charged on the card.

Honestly what you have said is not far from the truth, I applied for 27 universities in Uk from September last year for 2023/2024 September section with HND. I have 7 year work experience & my personal statement used for each schools were all different & good as requested by schools.

Through the list of universities that accept HND & Third class posted here, I applied for all the schools listed there & I also added more that I researched. However, I was so disappointed when rejection letters started rolling in everyday in email, although Keele university nd Bangor University gave me conditional offer after I sent the documents required of me for unconditional offer for keele . After a week I checked my applicant portal my application status changed to application unsuccessful, I felt bad that day & more rejections continued to roll in with few offering premasters. Then for Bangor University there applicant portal is open but I can't upload required documents for unconditional offer.

In this same thread some body advised that for those of us who have HND & Third class & they're finding it difficult to get direct master with the stated qualifications above should do well to enroll for PGD with NOUN open university for 1 year program, by next-year one could use it for direct masters, so I did immediately with NOUN open University with my HND, registered and paid all fees. But a surprised mail hit my email two days ago, University of South Wales gave me an unconditional offer direct masters with scholarship of 2500£.

As you stated that Sheffield Hallam & Robert Gordon universities offers direct masters for HND, I also did applied there too, would also be aspecting a positive email from them.

Secondly, for those who just applied for their dependents after the main applicant; is there any need to upload the main applicant bank statement during uploading knowing fully well we are using a separate bank account for the visa application. The scratch card is scarce but you have to look for it. Go places where they majorly on exam registration. Some school can reject the token card

There is a reason UK schools ask for International Passport. That is the legal document recognized that shows the applicant's full Biodata.
Try using an AFFIDAVIT if the school will acknowledge it. If not, the only way out is to change your passport's name in Abuja.
But try using an AFFIDAVIT.

I would like to make an enquiry. Is there any Implication if a Masters student (4 months into the program) on Tier 4 Visa obtains COS and apply for work visa ? What are the chances of being rejected and would such student be able to continue with studies and work after upgrading to Tier 2?

Go get a letter from the school she got the certificate from. Stating, it's the same person.
