Everything is perspective. I needed cash so bad on Tuesday 14th. All the ATM I visited had at least 200 people plus you may need to fight dirty before your turn (that is even if it gets to your turn before the machine shut down o). I found a POS service selling old currency at 10% and bought some (people were still accepting the note as at then). On Wednesday 15th, FG went crazy with the hammer & everybody started rejecting the money. You expect I should keep the remaining money under my bed? A lot of people may have similar story.

Summary, you should only judge when you've heard their story.

Exact thing that happened to me on Thursday, I still have 6k of the old note I withdrew from suburb in Abuja , immediately I got to central area it appears as if I traveled out of the country, all food vendors and cabman rejected it...

Bro check well, the best he can do is to give Nigerian a good and fair election, for the votes of the people to count. I think he is trying to clear his name from his maladministration under the influence of the so called cabals for the past 7 years.

I have this feeling that Buhari's mission from the onset is to destroy the economy completely, and he was unable to achieve that in the last seven and half years in power, now what he cannot achieve in that space of time,he is ready to achieve it in the remaining three months.
So far there still remain a single Nigerian that is smiling, the man will feel he is unable to fulfill his objective.

Stubborn people - they had since 31st January to return this money but they wouldn't. I noticed that we have grown to see this country as a lawless one. Where nobody takes laws seriously because deadlines MUST be extended. These ones have been caught up in the morass.

Exactly o. Nigerians are becoming something else. There's no way we can ever be developed. All we do is blame the government but we r our problem.

How can someone take a look at Nigeria as a country and believe there's a God somewhere who listens to prayers and acts on it? then believe such a god is actually a "good" God?

Oga think for once, there are no new notes available, so people are practically left with no choice but to depend on the old notes for transactions.

I’ve a lot of money in my bank account but I don’t have a dime on myself as I type. I take oranges everyday I went to the place where I usually buy oranges but I couldn’t get my oranges. Transfer cucuma no dey go.

Am feeling the heat too but all my money as at January 2nd was lodged into my bank account.

They didn't bother to return the old notes because the new ones were nowhere to be found. People have to survive. Now the N200 notes aren't even in circulation. In fact, na 2h notes wey scarce pass. The whole thing was poorly executed

You get sense so? Let's do this simple math, i have 500k old notes as a business man, i took the old notes to bank. They collected it without giving me the new notes. How do you expect me to pay my suppliers who are unbanked?, How do you expect me to pay for petty transactions? Logistics? Food? Water?...will all transactions be cash based?, You took 3 thrilling out and injected 500billion, check the ratio?....go to the banks, no cash in the vaults and ATMS, for a country of over 200million...i tried using app, it failed.... When all these cash brouhaha started, banks were still dispensing the old notes. Infact, the new notes didn't come out immediately. you must be a fool. And e no go better for you o.

Thank you. Bros, if many people get sense, we for no dey this bad as a nation and people.

The highest amount of the new notes I've owned at once was 2K (what can that buy). Since then, I never take eye see Emefiele and Buhari new money! We've had to put some building projects on hold because no money to pay workmen who claimed they don't use bank accounts.

Petty traders on the streets whose businesses are mostly cash-based and low volume, have few reasons to operate bank accounts unless they don't mind charges eating into their minimal profits.

I can't imagine a country wanting to implement a policy so bad that they are completely unprepared and immatured for like Nigeria has just done. I remembered that low-budget CBN governor, talking one time about how difficult it is to see 50 pounds or 100 dollar bills in the hands of citizen in those country, while Nigerians have no problem carrying 1000 naira denominations. How many people would ordinarily walk around with 70K naira in their pockets? Because that's what's actually 100 dollars in real value. It's foolhardy to think creating scarcity of hard cash would give the same dynamic that exist in the UK and US - different factors are at play here.

According to news I'm hearing around my locality, a 'smart' Nigerian has made himself a fortune by selling new 'money'. Can you imagine that?

You have started again, leave God out of this discussion, God has nothing to do with all the useless idiots you people selected in Nigeria,

Is it God that voted idiot Buhari to power?

Is it God that is making laws in the national Assembly?

Is it God that is hoarding the new note

Leave God out of the equation and go and stone Buhari out of power shocked
