You keep dribbling yourself. Oh dear.

Using your analogy

Faith and believe is not unique to believers since unbelievers also practice it too. For example, as an employee at any firm, you obey your employer when you believe that he will, as he stated, honor whatever contract he made 2with you. undecided

The employee mentally assent to the employers ability to honor his part hence his obedience. You cannot obey what you mentally do not assent/agree to...

The contract commands that mental assent, so obliging is obedience. undecided
A contract is an agreement hence it commands a mental assent from those who wll be bound by it. By obeying that command to mentally assent to the agreement, ones faith is expressed, again.. through ones obedience. undecided

Obedience and commands are not disputed. From your submission you agree mental assent is believe.
Disbelieve or doubt is a mental state of disagreeing (un assenting) with commands which results disobedience.

Um... doubt does not always result in disobedience. I may doubt the Lordship of Jesus Christ but still choose to obey Him, maybe because those around me are doing so. undecided

First, contrary to what many may like to believe, Hebrews 11 vs 1 does not contain a definition of the word faith . Rather what the writer does in the context is attempts a figurative comparison of faith with the evidence/substance, the promises of God, that come as a result of ir. Faith itself is not defined in the context of that passage. For this reason, the word faith, in the context, is used in reference to efforts made by such a person as Abraham while pointing out the evidence/benefits that resulted from such effort. undecided

God Himself explained what the word faith means in Genesis 26 vs 5 when He pointed out that the reason why He made a promise to Abraham had to do with the fact that Abraham lived his life in submission and obedience of His, God's, teachings and commandments - Faith. God gave that as the one and the only reason why He made Abraham His friend. This offer we observe Jesus Christ makes with all those of His followers who will do as He says - John 15 vs 9 -14 — those who will submit to and obey His teachings and commandments in the Kingdom of God. So, there you have it. Faith refers to living one's life in continuous submission and obedience to God's commandments and teachings, and in our case, in Jesus Christ. This definition is observed as being used in the Old Testament as well as in the New Covenant by Jesus Christ Himself. undecided

The concept of faith is stupid, how can you take pride in believing things without evidence?

In the beginning God (the Jewish one) created the heaven and the earth
Where is your f.ucking evidence ?!

The best way to have faith is to see the goodness of Christ. Every one Jesus healed on earth, heard the good news about Him and their faith came to also get healed. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Keep hearing about the good news(gospel) of Jesus. Hear preaching about His love for you, about His finished work on the cross and about His goodness. Faith won't come when you hear preaching about the law or ten commandments! But faith will come when you hear Jesus wants to heal you, Jesus wants to restore you, Jesus wants to provide for you.
I am afraid this is all meaningless gibberish fed you by men who are ignorant of the Truth of God, Jesus Christ. Even the same Paul you quoted told you in Romans 2 vs 12 - 16 that hearing cannot make your right with God meaning faith comes not just by hearing at all. undecided

When you have faith, you trust or believe in something very strongly
Wrong! No matter how strongly you trust, if your trust excludes obedience(works) your faith is dead(meaningless). As a matter of fact, it is impossible to have faith in God while excluding obedience. undecided

FAITH in Christ has FAILED Leah Sharibu. Nansense an ingredient.
How do you know she had faith in Jesus Christ? From all accounts, what she had was faith in the Religion of Christianity — her pastors and mogs as gods over her — which is itself against Jesus Christ. Let's stop playing the fool abeg! You can not serve man and God at the same time. God made this abundantly clear in His Word. undecided

Christianity been a religion deduced from Judaism is not a religion of Jesus based on his teachings and principles? You lack brain. Poo matter has developed in your medulla obloganta and now you reason anticlockwise.

I said she was of the religion of Christianity in which pastors and mogs sit as gods over men. Jesus Christ never gave men religion so just because the religion of Christianity hides its claims behind the name of Jesus Christ does not mean it is in any way affiliated with Jesus Christ and His teachings which is a Law. undecided

Faith or believe is simply mental accent to His promise.
This is wrong as Jesus Christ instead indicated that those who belong to Him are those who obey Him, meaning that all assumptions of faith which are devoid of obedience(works) are meaningless in the Kingdom of God. undecided

If you claim faith/believe is works, which works does one do here to be a Son of Yahweh?

John 1

11 He came to his own creation, yet his own people did not receive him.

12  However, to all who received him, those believing in his name, he gave authority to become God’s children,

13  who were born, not merely in a genetic sense, nor from lust, nor from man’s desire, but from the will of God.

1. Here's a correction for you.

Faith = Submission(Trust/Acceptance) and obedience(works). undecided

Second, never abandon the other parts of the Gospel which address the very same topic. undecided

John 1 vs 12 - 13 is meant to be compiled together with John 8 vs 31 - 44, and all other related teachings in order than one gain full understanding of the the Truth of God. undecided

Why do you need a link when you can investigate it for yourself in scripture? See God's description of Abraham's faithfulness to Him, God, for example, in Genesis 26 vs 5. undecided

Why is that your submission must be based on either Greek or Hebrew or Aramaic idea of a word which are way better than English when seen in context. Did you use thayer or Strong's concordance? Or which?

I have absolutely no idea what you are asking me this for. According to scripture, anyone who comes to God must submit his will -- die to self -- in order to trust(submit) and obey God only. It was the same for Abraham, for Isaac, for Jaco, those of the the Old Law and certainly for those of us in the New Law. undecided

Hmm it seems you have limited yourself. Not studying in the rich Bible language s of Greek,Hebrew or aramaoc but in English will surely affect you because you will present out of context.. For instance Paul use of power in four Greek ways but English is power. So also the word love in Greek is four.
Bros you need to search the scripture like the berean you know?

1. So what you are insinuating is that even though God's word was presented to men in human language, somehow it does not translate well to other languages and given that nowhere in scripture did God Himself mandate that His Truth be compiled and read in one particular language, God lied to His people when He in fact said His Word never changes -- it is from everlasting to everlasting? undecided

2. Paul's writeups are Paul's. Do his claims somehow impact or change the declarations of God Himself written in whatever language scripture is translated into? undecided

3. Read the scripture like the Berean? God revealed in scripture - Genesis 26 vs 5 - what the faith of Abraham entailed. Are you able to prove God wrong by your Berean means? undecided

Teacher answers your question. A teacher is an authority who Yahweh has set in the church like other gifts of apostles etc
A teacher exponds the language and the tenses to help in rightly dividing the word. Strong's and thayer amongst others have done so ..
