True Christians don't throw away their roots. In every religion, culture or belief, there's tendency for fanaticism. Those you mentioned that are desecrating African deity did so with genuine or non-genuine purpose. The only part that Christianity may frown against is the part that's not morally good. For example, deity that requires human sacrifice. Don't blame the whites for coming to abolish such.

1. What you just spewed makes no sense. Jesus Christ lived His life according to the Old Law of Moses — the National Constitution of the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan. And He made it known that He did not come to reform the Law of Moses in any way or form. And the fact that Jesus Christ railed against the religious establishments that taught the doctrines and traditions of men in place of God's Law also speaks volumes about where Jesus Christ placed religion. What you call the Christian religion in fact has nothing to do with Jesus Christ and His New Law which He instead came to give to the sinners of Israel.
