Try getting a 2004 - 2005 Honda civic. If they're well maintained, they'll give less problems

moneymind:
Hello guys, God bless you for all your contributions. I am currently considering buying a car for bolt. I'm based in Benin. Someone mentioned a list of recommended cars, I can't seem to find it. Though people have told me Corolla, Camry or Hyundai Elantra. My budget is between 1.5 to 1.8. Corolla seems to be out of it. I have seem some Camry big daddy within my range but to be honest I can't buy any of them with my hard earned money. I'm basically left with the Hyundai Elantra 2008. I have seen some very neat ones on Jiji. I plan on traveling to Lagos on Tuesday after the holidays to meet some of the sellers.

My questions are: Is the Elantra really a problem free car? Any particular thing I need to know? Do I have any better option for my budget? Pls also share any advice you have for someone traveling to Lagos to get a used car. Thank you for your anticipated support.

Truth be say, rich chics that came from wealthy homes barely use e-hailing cab, because most times, they have their own car.

95% of female riders na hustler.

I believe people use e-hailing rides for different reasons, many faces we dont know. I once pick a celeb, she was a bit scared as someone booked the ride for her. Me I don't know her and I am rude in my way cheesy if I don't know you simple means I don't know you, don't be hyping needless. She was just being terrified through out the trip and was even regretting why she didn't request for escort. Inside my mind, on top this my korope, madam park well jare cheesy we meet with another celeb I knew very well, a legend in the music industry. So I went online to check her out and found out I know her song, but not her face.

She call me time to time, but offline is not really my thing. Picked her like 3 times after that and that's it. My point? Some people don't find long distance driving fun. Tojahh, northbird, pearl, Readadream are the ones that doesn't have issues with spending 4-6 hours in traffic. So when it comes to come and break your back, they reach out for them.

Am not an Uber driver though, but i have someone that does it.

An A-list artist cannot take an Uber to their destination.

Pope abeg I no like spending hours in traffic o. E they always pepper me for body. That's why I try to leave my house as early 4am. I also know my route, I no request to pick and to ignore.

I knew today was going to be rough, traffic wise, so I tried to go out last night but Sangotedo traffic said for where? We die there . Naso I slept off while monitoring traffic condition. Woke up early and dashed out only to still get stuck in traffic for hours.

If not that the Chinese guy called me to come pick him. I won't stay out till 12pm before I run back home.

I have no problem driving long distance, what I dislike is traffic. I don go Abuja twice this year.

Someone wants me to take him and his colleague to Oyo state on Friday morning. They are building contractors. We will leave on Friday morning and they would still go round till evening. Then continue the next day.(go round again) He said they would be through around 5/6pm on Saturday but he wouldn't want us to go back to Lagos by night, so we would sleep over and leave on Sunday morning to Lagos. He's someone I know well,.....a neighbour.

How much can I charge him for the 2 days and coming back to Lagos? They will provide accommodation, but I'll take care of my feeding

Why not? They do, you can camouflage easily using Uber. Anybody expecting you won't look out for a typical uber car, that's the catch.

Some clients will call u when they see that the fare has sky rocketed, but want to pay the usual fare. I just tell them I am not available. I still collected 11k now now from Ojuelegba to Berger. Offline will not pay that much. Even u sef will not be able to bill ur customer like that.

Can someone please recommend a good portable tyre inflator that's less expensive than v-star.

If you've used/use one that pumps fast for long, kindly let me know.

Thanks.
