I want to assume the account is not a corperate account because if it is, I believe you should have no issue explaining.

If this is true, I will suggest you do the followings;

1. Let Dad provide an affidavit that they both run the company and the funds go into Mum's account. The account number and name should be stated.

2. Let Mum show some receipts linking and confirming some transactions with the account.

3. Let Dad present company's documents including the registration ones stating his name.

The three points will explain the relationships between Mum, the account, Dad and the company.

This is only my suggestion and comes out of my thinking and should not be taken as a professional advice. This suggestion and all contents I provide on Nairaland may be incorrect, outdated and should not be regarded as professional advice.
Thank you so much for you input.
Yes its a personal account, hence i am off the opinion they both sign the sponsorship letter.
The father doing an affidavit a brilliant. Appreciate.

Hello everyone. I got admitted to centennial college, Toronto and my visa has been approved. I’m Planning to travel in two weeks time but I don’t know anyone there. I need someone who can help me with accommodation or someone looking for a roommate pending the time I get my own space 🙏. And if there is any group you can recommend for centennial college I’ll appreciate.

Received with Thanks. Thanks alot.

I wasn't given any yellow or blue slip when I did biometrics. I was asked to photocopy the data page of my passport, which I did and submitted. Something was pasted on it and I was told that I will use it to collect my passport after it is stamped.

Please can you help with a picture of what the slip looks like I have emailed you pleaseee.

Even for a 2 years course, this should be fine for living expenses alone.

I thought you can only apply for gcms notes directly if you are a citizen, PR or inside Canada else you have to apply through a third party that would then get it on your behalf.

Are you saying it is possible to apply for CBSA for free from Nigeria?

UCI is Unique to each client/applicant. So once u submit an application using same UCI, their system will automatically recognize it as reapplication and the VO will be able to access even ur old documents and reports. That’s how they know if u have tackled ur refusal reasons or not.

Please if you are self sponsored and you have ur living expenses in ur account. Your brother paid your school fees in full…so u need to declare how u got the funds to pay ur fees? Or as long as u pay the fees it doesn’t matter?

Good day house, for someone who is 41, single, no kids, no landed property and was once rejected for visiting visa due to lack of home ties.

Is just my job, Aged parents and siblings sufficient to use as home ties? Or how else can I tackle the lack of home ties that was stated in my GCMS note for my visitor visa refusal.

Is it necessary to get like a transfer of land or gift from my parents if that will help? .

I have gotten admission to SAIT for Jan 2024. Just waiting to apply for my visa

Please help….

To increase your chances, she can go alone and use you and the kid as home ties.
The 8m is very much enough since school fees has been paid. It would have even been probably enough for 3 of you if you decided to go along as well.

The reason why we explain source of fund is to be sure the money would be available for the study. Since the school fees has been paid, no need for explaining the source.
