The government should just let the market leaders sign undertaken , if they want the LASG to leave the buildings, they will be held responsible if the building eventually collapse

Death 💀 sentence as penalty for the market leaders that sign and stood shorty for the building

This is a wrong.. illogical and ignorant take to have....if you feel you're being targeted and that the excuse for the planned demolition is not genuine, you all just need to gather funds together..get a lawyer and fund independent study by accredited experts to verify if your building is truly healthy or not.

By the way... aren't you mostly renters of those shops...how many of the buildings actually belong to the traders in Alaba... Better move your goods to safe places in time and begin looking for landlords that will let their refurbished/rebuilt shops to you after the demolitions

2023 elections are a major turning point in the body politic of southwest of Nigeria. For the fact that Igbos left their ancestral homes for Lagos to register en masse as voters mean only one thing - an attempt to take over the state from indigenous Yorubas.

Whether you believe it or not, whether you like it or not, the Igbos can never have things the way they used to have them. It is called self preservation and it is done all over the world when the interest of a group of people is threatened. Expect more of things like this.

Peter Obi has effectively sent the Igbo 50 years back.

You are kidding..

Before it was your Oba...

Actually Obi has effectively sent Igbos into a spin lock in development...

If I post videos of what is coming to Igboland which ought to have been in Lekki axis. you will eat your words...

Lies all over
If a building collapses and people die , everyone will blame the government. Every tribe is represented in the buildings and they have been notified for several years.
Stop being stup*d

The house demolished in ikoyi too are because the owners did not vote for Apc. Enikuree. Lagos state should demolish any distress house with immediate effect.

Igbo people don't really know powerful they are in this country.

I wish they can start moving their investments and business to the eastern part of the country.
Aswear, SW go dry pass desert.

You are very dull sha. How come people don't open mall in a village? Because few people live there. People also move to economically viable place. If you move you back east, many people including foreigners will be happy to take over the space. You are a fool to think SW will dry.

I despise fellow Africans who seek sympathy from the same whites they accuse of racial descremination. In vincius case, tens of other black communities started sending solidarity messages as if the world was against them....Victim Mentality is for losers

I know that not all Igbos think like this, but if after many years of living in SW, relating and mingling with the Yorubas, you still actually feel they could characteristically oppress you or bully you just cause you're not one of them, then, you're the worst among all humans in the world. Your reasoning sucks and you're a born loser.

This man is a hypocrite, just like thousands of deluded ones who thinks like him

Lol. In yhur own wisdom yhu have typed this gibberish.
That yhu are not part of them doesn't mean it is not the truth.
They love the Igbos so much that's why one of them said they should kill all the Igbos in the west.

Hatred for the Igbos in some parts of yoruba land is real but I will not generalise it. I have just so many wonderful souls among them and so, I will not generalise. Reasons some haters of Igbos exist there is ignorance, lack of exposure and misinformation.

So baba, that yhu ain't one of those miscreants and rag heads who hate the Igbos with passion doesn't mean it's not true.

Useless lies, Lagos State Government that likes money pass anything.
The buildings marked are weak and just like death trap.

If is possible for the governor to leave it, he should leave this demolition, just create awareness about it, Mark it, stamp it, write it bodly on the body, anyone that goes there to sell and buy, is on his own.
The truth is that, they will say is because igbos did not vote for Apc.

It is all about conquest but the yorubas are now aware to the plan.
Hehehehehe. Zimbabwe had white farmers who owned largest farm lands and were into large scale agriculture for domestic and export purposes, they were the largest contributors to the GDP and foreign reserve of Zimbabwe. But empty head Zimbabwe majority black population supported Robert Mugabe land grab policy. The policy was aimed at grabbing white farmers lands and redistribute it to the blacks who know nothing about large scale commercial farming. In the end, the effect of the poverty and economic deprivation this once popular sentiment driven policy caused Zimbabwe is still on. They had to chase Robert Mugabe out of power. The policy was nice to their sentiment but bred massive economic upheavals. The white farmers left and entered other African countries set up their farms with the support of government of these countries and they are better for it while Zimbabwe remains on its knees.
Yorubas and Igbos should settle each other's worth of investment in Lagos and counter balance each other.
Lagos like Zimbabwe will be on its knees if they go against Igbo investments in Lagos because of politics of this world. It is a symbiotic relationship, the Igbos do their business in Lagos and pay the various taxes both federal and state, Lagos has sufficient revenue from taxes to develop and maintain the city, Igbos are not living rent free in Lagos. The major hold of Lagos is trade and commerce. The major movers of trade and commerce are the Igbos. Go to Apapa and tin can and get the statistics of the volume of Igbo businesses being coming into or going out
of Nigeria through the ports. It's not that Yorubas are not smart, they are very smart but differently smart from the Igbos. Igbos are trade and commercially smarter, Yoruba are corporately/intellectually smarter
