God didn't destroy humanity for their sin there otherwise all humans including Noah supposed to be wiped out because according to God all have sinned {Romans 3:23} so none is doing good from God's standpoint! Romans 3:10-12

So why not destroy Satan along with those making God's heart sad? Genesis 6:6

There is a case to be resolved, Satan asserted that God supposed to allow humans rule over themselves independently if He (God) is sure that they're perfectly made in His image {Genesis 1:26} God made it clear that each human could determine what is best for himself or herself when talking about care after all each of them want to continue living but it's not within their capability to set standards that can lead to peace among themselves so a SUPREME BEING (GOD) is the only one who can do that.
