Be there arguing with your computer

Check the ranks of all the last 10 appointments, check ranks before and after appointment

If you’re in the military you can do that easily and should know this already, if you’re not go and do more research
Where is the argument u referring?

Did you understand the simple question?

Since you have done your research, why can't you answer the simple question....When was the new COAS appointed and decorated as a Lt. Gen?

Since you are in the military, pls identify the rank of the two men in the pix.

You should also tell me the law that says a new COAS automatically becomes a Lt. Gen. upon appointment.

Bunch of office generals, no difference between most of them and civil servants with their duplicate roles and redundant offices. That is why 100 of them can be retired every few years.

The military is now being fair enough unlike before where 90% of the appointments came from the north.

This how you guys force narrative on people
This how you guys call everyone that doesn't support Tinubu an Igbo person...

Even after I had made it clear that I don't hate Tinubu because he is Yoruba you are still trying to force that to my throat...

He is not aware of my existence because he is a senseless leader, however I'm aware of his existence because he is the president of my country Nigeria and his decisions affects my well-being..

I repeat!
I don't hate him because he is Yoruba

Try and get the point as well as the difference

So why do you hate him. enunciate it to me logically. I want to believe you

Actually, you don't need all these shalaye at all. It's important to note that tribal conflicts or cards as you put it, are not unique to Africa, and similar conflicts can be found in other parts of the world. However, the specific causes and dynamics of these conflicts can vary widely depending on the region and the cultural, political, and economic context in which they occur. The context we are talking about here is " you hating Tinubu a Yoruba man for no reason" hence reason why the person( Yoruba man as well) quoted you with those words, which is normal.
I dislike tinubu because he's a criminal not because he's a yoruba. Therw are also many yorubas i know and walk with that dislike tinubu and voted for PO. If you had Osinbajo or fashola on the ballot he would have won both FCT & Lagos with a landslide. Its astonishing how you yorubas engage in petty tribal rivalry even though you guys were the first to experience foreign education. It only shows that your leaders failed to pass on what they know, but rather used you to advance their political aim. That's why you have touts everywhere in yoruba land and beyond, something that was non-existent before tinubu and his goons took over. look at your leaders all embellished in fraud and criminal dealings. Gbajabimiala ran away from the UK because he duped his biz partners, dapo abiodun also ran away from yankee for the same fraud. How can these fraudulent people be leadersnin your region. A region that was the base of intellectuals in the early 60s,70s and 80s you should look inwards and reason why you guys have fallen from grace.

Ordinarily, the lieutenant general rank is usually held by only the Chief of Army Staff which implies there is usually only one serving lieutenant general in the Army at a time but there have been some occasions where

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieutenant_general_(Nigeria)

Google is your friend
At hand over Buhari did not hand over to president Tinubu, he became after hand over. Same with Lagbaja

Future decorations are merely ceremonial

Also his position is Senate confirmed. That doesn’t mean just because he isn’t confirmed yet he hasn’t started walking in the shoes if not all his appointments are nonsense

I think the tribal conflicts in Africa are quite unique in intensity due to some specific reasons:
Artificial boundaries
High levels of diversity
Poor education and infrastructure (These two help unite a country physically and mentally)

Find below the official account of the Nigerian army
The Nigerian Army itself is telling you he is now a Lieutenant General
I told you he’s a Lieutenant General
What proof do you need again if not that you just want to look right or argue what you don’t know?
I suspect you’re one junior officer that thinks he knows Nigerian Military doctrine and traditions but you clearly don’t
We cannot reveal ourselves online just for arguement sakes I for show you say I suppose know
You go enter guard mess if you call your Chief a Major General

All service chiefs are elevated to the equivalent of Lieutenant General AFTER appointment and the Defense chief becomes a full General according to Nigerian Military Tradition

Then as a senior officer that "knows Nigerian Military doctrine and traditions", you should have absolutely no problems answering the questions I asked.

1. When was the new COAS appointed and decorated as a Lt. Gen?

2. Since you are in the military, pls identify the rank of the two men in the pix.

3. You should also tell me the law that says a new COAS automatically becomes a Lt. Gen. upon appointment.

My first question to you was at 3:38pm. 4 hours later, you still haven't been able to answer my questions.

How come that a senior military officer like yourself that "knows Nigerian Military doctrine and traditions" can't answer simple questions but has to search the internet for answers to the questions of an "outsider" and "civilian"?

1. When was the new COAS appointed and decorated as a Lt. Gen?

2. Since you are in the military, pls identify the rank of the two men in the pix.

3. You should also tell me the law that says a new COAS automatically becomes a Lt. Gen. upon appointment.

Are you still searching the internet or you simply don't know the answers to my questions?

On 19th June 2023 he was appointed
Handing over was done a few days later

2. Since you are in the military, pls identify the rank of the two men in the pix.
