No disrespect meant, but I am more than willing to bet that the lizard was just that: a lizard...her pet of choice.

Many, many Caucasian people absolutely adore (and borderline worship) animals more than humans here.
It is by no means unusual for one to own a lizard as a pet. Horses, dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, snakes, gerbils fish, rabbits, etc.,
It's just an extreme love for animals....98 percent of the time.
Practically any creature that one can afford to buy and rear, I can guarantee has one. I'm not saying that it's wise in every case...you do have extreme, bizarre cases.
As a Christian for some decades now, and what I have been exhausting my words on this site for about 7 yrs or so, is about this Nigerian brand of Christianity---

After reading this piece aswear one incidence comes to mind.
My wife and I do notice one yeye wall gecko in our bed room wc I term innocent but recently, my wife and I have gone through every item in the house to rid of this said gecko (big) but couldnt find it. Now here is the funny thing I noticed lotta irregularities happening in the house eg. Wifey picking fights unnecessarily, finanances not regular, business not booming, child I'll health and this gecko comes to mind cos we see it some time but when you attempt killing the savage, it just varnishes.
