Good morning everyone. I applied for visiting visa since Novermber last year with my family. I emailed the MP last 3 weeks and this is what they replied yesterday about my application.

* Received on November 9,2022
* Processing at the Lagos visa office
* Processing time is 714 days- Tends to fluctuate depending on what is happening in the region
*Criminality and eligibility have passed
* Request letter sent on june 17,2023-documents received on june 23,2023. Actively working on reviewing those documents.

This is what they replied. I wrote on this forum in May when theh asked of the request letter. Police certificate in Nigeria and the United states. Which I submitted. The united states own was the one the MP referred to on June 17 being received on June 23.

Please what's all the criminality and eligibility implies.

While it can be possible, Do not bank your hopes on it. Make sure you back up your plans with a better pathway and convert your documents Legally.
Best bet, once you have your TRV, begin to process Permanent Residence immediately. Or go on JobBank and seek a Job, get an employer who can sponsor you with approved LMIA, apply for Workpermit and you good, Some Employers can be merciful at some point. Put your mind to rural Areas. The Urban side could be a complex complexity.

Its a way to lure peeps into Canada until 2025 , but the determinant is your skillset and the availability in the NOC, then secondly The provinces, prairies and what have you. Pnp can be fill even outside canada so How can you fill for pnp on a tourist visa on what advantage or immigration path!!

Let me tell u for every soul with visitor visa that follow ur leads and get stranded with ur bogus quotes and information...God will judge u

You one way or the other specified you have travel history , hence the request. It's best you upload it , showing this and several other ties depicts you are a better candidate than most other people for the visa , the reason most of the time is, if a first world country like the US can grant you visa , they (Canada) should as well. You got no problems.. just upload most of your travel history (exit and entry stamps) and visa stickers for them to see.

B1/B2 visas are supposed to be Non immigrant visas
