I know what B1/B2 and non-immigrant visa means. I have had that for close to a decade.

My specific question is to anyone who currently holds a valid U.S non immigrant visa (B1/B2 or any other category) and has processed a canadian visitor's visa, to please share their experience as to how their U.S. non immigrant visa helped(or otherwise) the process.

Your initial response was about travel history and the question on the portal goes beyond travel history, they were specific about holding a VALID U.S. non-immigrant visa..... and not just if u have travel history or if you have visited U.S. before or if u have visited UK or somewhere eles before

Its Weekend. They would not check emails as today is Rest day. Positive send an email to them come Monday. Especially very early in the morning. Kenya is about 2 Hours ahead of Nigeria. You can schedule then and send emails to them.

You can use ups or dhl. Vfs use ups for home delivery after ur passport is stamped. For duration let say 1-2weeks if you send to Abuja n will use vfs courier. If you’ll pickup yourself in Abuja, let say 3-5days.

You don’t need to book anything until your visa is approved. Just work on home ties, pof n good sop.

Yea, i also saw that. They asked "Do you hold a valid US visa?" and if you choose Yes, you are asked for the VISA number. I have submitted my application since May 31st and still waiting for feedback. It is still on background check status

Many of you are agents and l know ur ways...ruskov claim to be in russia and join last month and suddently turn immigration guru quoting ircc website to misleading people...some nigerians are on the street in ontario or sleeping homeles shelter already due to all this wicked info and agent claiming u can change to wp easily ,my advice to people coming have a backup plan if donot want to be illegal or homeless on the street..and people who continue hail.falsehood ..reality will open ur eyes when u land..then we shall know who is right or wrong!

Ask the agent for a copy of the completed form and use this to request a change in email address.

If it's possible since you've not done biometrics, withdraw this application and do it yourself. Judging by the flippant response stating your wrong date of birth is not an issue (which it is, if not addressed), I wonder if there are no other gaps in your application.

I'm very wary of agents and it has exacerbated because of the multiple complaints I've seen on this and other travel threads, so my advise might be on the extreme end of the spectrum

Did you go through an agent? How was payment of the visa fee done?

If you used an agent or someone else to make payment and have clear documentation on this i.e. emails, chats asking for payment to be made and showing you paying the naira equivalent, I'll suggest maybe including in your webform/email back to them. Due to restrictions in forex amount one can spend by a lot of Nigerian banks in the last few years, a lot of people struggled with making this payment themselves and used agents or friends for this. Downside is one can't be certain if the cards used were not fraudulent or if the people themselves are honest (and not the ones requesting a charge back for this expense).

A lady just had same issue and she paid the application fee by herself. Never received any refund or cashback but there was a debt claim on her profile.
