adanny01: But Obi has to be sworn in first and the only person that can allow that is the president! The same judges that ordered Kanu released and nothing happened? They'll now order the president to remove himself! With what army or police will they enforce it? Nigerian presidency is ridiculously too powerful with virtually no checks and balances, aside the fact the judges themselves are APC politicians (never mind the pretence - u have to be to be appointed by APC) |

84mgve27: Complete falsehood, if supreme court declares Obi president, Tinubu ceases to be President immediately and Obi will be secured immediately and sworn in. What happened when Yaradua died is exactly what will happen. Did Tinubu put himself there, The same person who swore Tinubu will swear in anyone the supreme court declares as the president. Stop sharing ignorance. You dare not compare Nnamdi Kanu's case with Presidential election tribunal. |

adanny01: My friend you're talking about la la land, not real life. There is PRECEDENT in Nigeria for delays in enforcing SC rulings. There is no such precedent in a country like, say, USA. Nigeria copied the American presidential system without having any of the things that keep the American president in check - such that not a single American president has ever delayed enforcement of a SC rulling. The same thing that delayed enforcement of other SC rulings would also delay removal of the president until the decision is magically reversed. That's real life! Yes, Tinubu did not put himself there, but once he is there, he's the only one who can remove himself - because he alone controls enforcement (military and police) and his total loyalists are in charge of them! Anyway, all this is moot because, like I said, it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE those judges will rule Tinubu did not win the election! |

donphilopus: How do you expect Atiku and his lawyers led by livy uzuokwu to get fair judgement when Buhari replaced Walter onnoghen with a tribal bigot, sentimental, inept and religious fanatic like tanko Muhammad as the chief judge of Nigeria? |

Perhaps they forgot that the most recent is 1999 constitution as amended, and Not 1979 outdated; so, it may be okay to remind them. |

84mgve27: It's the supreme court that will declare it and its the CJN who is the head of the Supreme court that will act on it. Not the police, military or anyone. Whatever order that will come from Tinubu is null and void after the pronouncement from SC. As soon as Obi makes himself available to the CJN, he will be sworn in without delay. Why do you guys always think like kids. You are comparing a constitutional to a criminal case. Kanu's case can end today and DSS can arrest him at the gate of the court with a different charge. When Imo governor was removed, how long did it take to swear in new governor? Go find out the almost dozen times a government is removed by court. The only reason that this case has already failed is because it is genuinely lacking of merit. What's is Obi asking for? He won? He came 3rd Nullify election? That's absurdly impossible Tinubu a drug baron? Prove it ... Bla bla bla Grow up |

adanny01: You are talking like an idiot who doesn't live in real life Nigeria. Visualize, the SC quickly declares xyz president. Tinubu is in Aso Rock and refuses to leave. Then what? Same "then what" that happened other times president refused to obey. Governors don't control any enforcement - can even have their security dentail withdrawn while still in office. Stop talking like an idiot! |

In law you can quote judgement of any case since independence if you are sure there is a hidden lacuna in the constitution that you can use to unsettle the quotes of the constitution itself. It is allowed. It will be stupid to quote judgement of Osun's case because the judgement have not been put to judicial test using similar situation |

seunmsg: The point is, Nigeria needs a leader who will put a stop to this broad daylight robbery and not support it. Enough is enough. Besides, all the key positions are all held by the ruling party or appointed by the president. |

DaddyCoool: Pls stop lying on national frame, Tinubu does not have powers to appoint judges, he only confirm the chief justice of the federation. Judges are appointed by the judiciary council of Nigeria and NBA. |

Go n sleep. Your write up is trash. 1999 constitution is what we use today. Every recent amendment done was on it. Citing Awolowo n Shagari's case showed us that Olanikpekun is only being professional. He should have some straw of hope for his client to hang on. That's exactly what he's doing. Adeleke vs Oyetola is the most recent executive case. Why didn't he cite it? Maybe he should have cited Uzodinma vs Ihedioha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Your lord is going to make history as the first Nigerian president to be booted out of office✅ chatinent: |

THUMPS UP.The truth is bitter but they wont reason with you, most of them had been blindfolded by hatred and ethnic bitterness.Only the wise and sane people know that the last presidential election was one of the freest and fairest election ever conducted in Nigeria... sangresan: |
