I didn't know my genotype until I wanted to get married and the church demanded for it..thank God I was AA my wife too was. That's how careless I was not knowing it was a serious matter. Just keep searching. Always pop the question before investing emotionally

I lost two sisters to sickle cell . one in 2018 and one this year ,age 25yrs . it was a very sad experience . plus if you don't want your children to go through reoccurring pains often . plus find another. this same issue made my elder sister stopped her engagement because she knows the pains and trauma she will be putting her future children.
