The thing is: It can only take dem moneybags to move such stocks at that price......
I like the fact that Alhaji Rabiu is coming thru for the stock.......at least for the benefits of retailers... smiley
I hope his broker comes in and move the price for today as well....

The question on my mind now is, since the owners and directors are holding over 95% of shares, what happened when they want to start dumping. Retail investors have big chance to exit. Na Rabiu and co go full inside bus down hill

I don't see the owner abandon his cash coy and source of wealth.
If it's some random shareholders, then I can be having this type of fear....

What I expected could happen is: Either to delist and go private OR, in case he wish to sell the asset (which is most unlikely), he will sell to new owner at huge premium .......this will benefit the retailers so much.

See the case of Otedola when he sold Forte Oil......though it ended up not paying off to retailers sha.

That's what I think.

when rabiu and Co want to exist they don't come to market to sell to retail investors. They look for a mugu in the name of patner/foreign investors and sell like 5-10 percent at higher market price.I think alhaji did it once with dangota cement.

With Dangote Flour

People like Alhaji Rabiu won't come and dump on retailers .....how much can they offer?
He'll look for wealthy interested company or entrepreneur to sell to, just like you said.... smiley

Investment principles, strategics and objectives differs but I don't think any discerning investor should sleep on Dangfoods. Rabiu is pumping hard for a reason. Capitalization play. Power play. Market leader play. At the end of the plays , investors will smile richly to the bank. Follow the money

Not a buy / hold / sell recommendation . Due diligence please.

Anybody noticed this stock of recent?
One of the hot stocks around this time......

Sometime back like beginning of the year someone here pointed out CWG and some one here also gave some analysis with moderate fair value along with some other stocks then. The stock has even hit the fair value pulled back and now has gone well above the fair value

It doesn't work that way.

That a stock is selling for 20kobo and another one selling for N1,000 doesn't make the 20kobo stock cheaper.

Also that it has low price doesn't mean you can sell it easily when you want to exit.

Make you dey very careful the way i dey see you like this o, make your fingers no burn

why am I not get dangota sugar @ 32 for the 2nd week to complete my targeted unit for now .

pizapato:

Dangote sugar having a pullback like I said few days ago. If it interests you, below 32 is a good price

Not long ago it pulled back to 32.
Not sure you will be able to get it at 32 again.
If my chat reading skills are right, it is heading for 42-44, a pull back should present another entry around 37-38.

I want to remind you that cheapness is not measured by the denomination of a stock, but by how far it lags its true value. For example, Airtelafri at #1250 can be cheaper than AIICO at 68 kobo. I am not saying that it is o. LOL

You have done well bro abi na babe. Pls hold these stocks. They are good picks.

those stocks u claimed are high are not. You have not educated yourself well enough about stocks to say that they are high.

are you saying that GTB price is higher than Sterling for example? It's also about value. The answer is NO. The value you get with your N1,000 buying GTB is higher than the value you are getting by buying Sterling with same amount.

You can only compare apple for apple.
