Can you imagine the stupidity of our country? Others applied and have been accepted. It is said that progressively it will become more stringent to join, ofcourse easier at the early stage.
I was shocked not to see Nigeria on the list of newly admitted members. What is wrong with us for God's sake? Imagine the benefit to us trading with our local currency with other members, it will even reduce the demand for usd and therefore improve the value of the naira.
Anyway, it is likely the US would have issued orders to oga at the top warning him not to join or face consequences.

For people that got their voter's card last year, hoping to push their ideology of a phantom"new Nigeria" through fake PR and statistics, we can both conclude that they know absolutely nothing about how the world works.
They just think you just tear the form and sign to show you belong, but they actually don't know that as a global player, (Nigeria is the world's 7th most populated country). You cannot just wake up and take decisions like that failed messiah, Peter Obi. Who was first a vice presidential aspirant, and didn't first join a party but became their candidate overnight as an afterthought. Decisions you take as leaders of the people of Nigeria will affect a sizable fraction of the world, so you need to carefully study the pros and cons.
