She actually made a few seconds publicity on channelstv last night, saying she has a right to contest as minister, while serving as a corper and she's not committed any offence, doing so. Maybe some lawyers have called her to order after millions of Nigerians had watched the press release last night during newshour.

If the judiciary isn't careful, a lot of bad precedence will be set in this administration for generations to come and nobody will undo them. You know when you make references in the court of law...in the case of so and so and so, in the year so and so...it becomes a reference for generations to come and that is dangerous to our democracy and future of Nigeria.

If she's a corper as alleged, things that comes to mind are: Does she have the experience to handle the position?
If not, why did they have to force it? Does that mean there are no other qualified persons for the position?

Why didn't u say so when the former appointed minister of finance resigned because of this same saga. The rule of law is clear. You must present your Nysc certificate. It doesn't matter if she's a youth or not. There are always other person's more qualified than her. The law is the law. We take this with levity that's why we are like this.

You cannot be paid from 2 different public funds. It's as simple as that. Nysc (public) pays u and then as a Minister, u wud also be paid from public forms too.

Going by your analogy NYSC should be scrapped because it is of no use. Anybody can be given jobs at any level without going for Nysc(not exemption letter) I mean immediately after school.
