Can one use this app to uninstall phoenix browser?
Robisky001:

Op kpele I feel your pain. Few weeks back I found myself in this dilemma and to say the least, used the phone to hit the wall. Go on playstore and download AppWatch what it does is that it monitor your activity on the phone. Once the ad pops up minimize and open the app and you will find the annoying app from there you can uninstall it.

Op, install Microsoft launcher and Edge browser.
The launcher will help you determine what is on your home screen. Go to your app settings, uninstall all apps not installed by you and not part of Google services, the ones you can't uninstall, force stop then disable them.
On your edge browser, go to settings and turn on ad blocker, you won't hear any noise again.
I can feel your pain, I've always been a Sam or Nok fan, work gave me a Tecno phone, na only God helped me not to hit it on the wall due to ads.

Sometimes my phone vibrates by itself. Could it be that there is an undercover app installed ?

And, the worst of the worst is these screen-covering ADS I receive virtually every 30 seconds or so it pops up and covers my screen and you know what that means : it sti have to wait stops everything I'm doing - I have to wait until there is an X to exit the ads.

Please this has made my anger rise and stresses me ....... How can I get rid of this ?

NB : it's a new phone and I bought it through easybuy on Slot but it's about 4 months ago. They normally install something if you buy through easy buy. Could it be the case

Even now as I'm typing it has popped up 3 times now ........... Arrrrghhgg

How to get rid of thisss

pay for the ad free versions of these apps
simple solution

My phone will vibrate and snap even when the screen is dark. This happens most especially anytime I am going out or in public place. I don't know the app responsible for that..

That's what you get when you choose "cheap and affordable" over quality.

Go to settings in your phone. Search for "private DNS" in connection and sharing - input 'dns.adguard.com' in private DNS. This should help .
This is what I use too, to block all ads, even Google ads on websites

OP this is exactly what you should do they will seize instantly, do not mind anybody that says you should install any app to stop ads, just go to your settings and block their father but note it might block some few pop ups from important apps, but it will be very few compared to the disturbance from other apps

Simply go to your phone setting as you stop notifications on some apps on your phone

Phoenix na follow cm.it can't b uninstall

Use any good explorer, go into Data in Android folder, search for the parent data file on phonix browser and delete it... That's if you can't shut the app down from app settings... You can also remove all access of the app including network access and clear all data cache cookies etc then stop using it

This guys has said it all @OP I use this method as well. It should work for you.
The disadvantage of it is that it limits some apps from gaining access to the internet.

Download and install ADGUARD premium from Google not from playstore.
I've been using it for the past 2 years now, former I was using BLOKADA but not that effective again.

Honestly If I find the app that's responsible, I'll blacklist them and give them the worst review ever

Download Nice Catch by Samsung.
It should show you what App(s) have triggered vibration or displayed commercials.

How to get rid of thisss

Let me teach you.

Go to settings

Click on more connections,

Go to Private DNS and change it from Automatic to Private DNS provider hostname then type in dns.adguard.com in the space provided.

After that, that's the end of it. Try it y'all 🥳

It's probably from your theme.

It's the only app than is capable of bringing out ads in phone screen anytime
Re: These Ads On My Phone Are Making Me Sick And Tired by Fesline(m): 8:52pm On Sep 08, 2023
To resolve this...
when the add pop up
1. Go to app manager under setting.
2. you'll see recently used apps...click on the earliest one.
3. click on the app to see it's notification and data usage.
4. click on uninstall.
5. if it's the IOS.....click on the upper right corner button...and uninstall update. then
6. go to Google play store.
7. go to settings and click on where you see the updates....when data is on option.
8. Cancel the selection of auto update when WiFi is available and when data is on....only leave for when I click on update.

final.
