You're very correct in your assessment, and this is what Prigozhin was saying all along...that Russia is treating Ukraine too soft. He wants a full-blown declaration of war with Ukraine where Russia will destroy the entire country like they did in Aleppo. But one thing that so many people fail to realize is this; Ukraine isn't the real enemy here, NATO is.

A destroyed Ukraine will serve no strategic purpose for Russia on both economic and geopolitical scale. The enemy will simply open another front against Russia and start all over again on it's quest to 'weaken" Russia and fragment it into little statelets. So, what Russia is doing currently is the best way to derail their plan, by taking them through the long haul, to exhaust or strain their financial, military and economic capabilities in return, to the point that, cracks will appear (and they have started appearing) in their unified agenda to punish, isolate and curtail Russia as an economic and military force to reckon with. It's such unfortunate that Ukraine allowed itself to be used as a battleground between rival great powers. If it were Poroshenko that was in power, this war would never have happened because he would have negotiated his way out of it. Zelensky was the perfect man they needed and that was why he has not disappointed them.

Whatever, I must agree with you that despite Ukraine not being the actual enemy, Russia must have to do or be prepared to do something 'stupid' that will leave an indelible mark to discourage and make the NATO-led Ukriane to think twice before they cross certain lines again in the future.

Nevertheless,I still think the current Russia approach is the best approach so long as Russia continue to keep up with the pace while Ukraine continue to lose men upon men. Recent estimates from American intelligence sources have confirmed that Ukraine has suffered more than 500,000 casualties since the war began. More than half of that dead and the rest permanently wounded or seriously damaged as such that they are unable to fight for the foreseeable time. They can't keep this up beyond 2024. Humans are not like machines that you can factory produce. Meanwhile, some nations across the EU are already getting fed up with the whole thing, and sooner than later, they will openly push back at the thought of continuing military and financial support for Ukraine, not to mention that Zelensky cocaine laden mental disposition isn't helping matters. By insulting and raving stupidly at some of the hands that are feeding him, this war won't exceed 2024. Already, the media is gradually toning down on Ukraine, and with the US election right by the corner, Ukraine would soon lose some of the support it's getting now. In fact, recent rhetorics from some.offical statements in the US shows that they are preparing the ground to ditch Ukraine as things aren't going according to plan. Frankly, none of them western thinkers and bureaucrats expected Russia to survive and circumvent the massive sanctions placed on it, and seeing how a lot of nations started aligning with Russia based on shared interest following the crisis in Ukraine, is giving the west sleepless nights. For instance, Saudi Arabia aligning with Russia and China on the economic front to circumvent the Dollar and push the oil markets from the way the west used to run it was one typical example of the scenario the US would never have imagined because it directly undermined their influence. Now, Iran more than ever is getting closer to a nuclear bomb. North Korea to get more sophisticated rocket technology from Russia, a slap on US foreign policy towards the country, even as Russia and China now plans to lift their share of the UN imposed sanctions against Pyongyang, which is even more of a nightmare scenario because once they do, other nations would follow suit, and the so-called balance of influence the US has committed so much resource to create in the South/East Asia region vis-a-vis South Korea and Japan to curtail the rise of China would be brought back to square one with a more advanced North Korea, thus underlining the huge failure in American foreign policy. France is being kicked out of Africa, which is giving Italy something to smile about. China is now planning to build a naval port in Cuba, and Russia planning to reopen a military observation center there too. cool Couple with the rising prowess of BRICS. Things aren't looking good for the neocon-led west as well, and they're starting to feel it.

But, for now, it's a game of who blinks first till the final push comes to a sadistic point of shoves that would leave no room for regret....Nuclear Holocaust.

God help us.

I hope it doesn't get to the nuclearstage ...... It will be a long marathon, but If Russia have the resources to play the long game, I think it will be beter.

NATO is the enemy in a war Russia started? Ukraine has lost 500K, how many has Russia lost? you must be a comedian to think Russia can exhaust US/NATO economically or militarily, while Russia is under sanctions and even without sanctions.

You lots are funny, you expected Ukraine to cowardly give up their territories, and since they chose to rather fight, it doesn't sit well with most of you.

Russia isn't who we thought they are. They have become highly dependent on China and even use Yuan for international trade, you don't realize how bad Russia has fallen, the relationship between Russia and China has become an unequal one, with China the leader and Russia the follower.

Russia has been far weakened than they would admit and would require years to get back to the pre war Russia.

Internationally, they have lost influence, who would have thought Ukraine would attack mainland Russia so boldly, Putin brought this upon himself.

Ukraine is an independent sovereign nation, not as state under Russia and hence should be allowed to determine their destiny, all the time they were allied with Russia, they were the poorest nation in Europe, so wanting to join the EU is for their benefit, especially if Russia couldn't offer them a better deal but wanted them to remain under their control.

Sentiments aside, if you was the president of Ukraine and Russia wants to annex your land cos they people want a better standard of living, annexing your most industrious cities having already annexed Crimea, and no certainty that they would stop there, would you rather fight or give up your territories with no assurance they won't be back for more.

Think am

And Russia isn't treating Ukraine softly, Russia isn't as strong as we all thought, Russia is doing everything they can to win the war, they have used most of their arms and ammunitions, bar nukes and there would be consequences if Russia decides to use nukes, how would you use nukes in a war you claim you're winning and Russia isn't the only nation with nukes this isn't 1945.

BRICS is an economic alliance not a military one, and the West/ US is their biggest market.

North Korea won't be a match a South Korea anytime soon, talk more of Japan. would you rather live in North Korea over South Korea?. your hatred for the US is making you too sentimental to even admit simple facts. What's the use of China arming N.Korea when China is still arming itself

They do have red lines, but what you need to realize is that fighting a crazy person is tricky, and contrary to what western media says, the crazy side in this fight is clearly the west.
Imagine you have a gun and a knife and so does the guy next to you, then for some reason he starts to try to verbally humiliate you, you win the verbal argument, then he tries to start a first fight with you, you win that as well, then he starts a knife fight with you...
You know that when it gets to the gun, you both die, but the mad guy next to you doesn't seem to know or to care...
To tell you the truth, if I were president of Russia, western Ukraine would no longer exist, I would have used my nuclear arsenal right from the beginning, and if NATO wants to talk, me and my allies China, North Korea and Iran would ask them if they want a nuclear Tango.
But I'm a little bit of a hot head when provoked.
ift would wise you knew there's nothing the usa has done in this Ukrainian war that Russia hasn't done to support Afghanistan and Vietnam in the past, infact in the peak of the Vietnamese war, Russian pilots were killed and captured, I'll advice you to always check history before you people post here, this things aren't hard to know Russia has been threatening nuclear escalation since usa started delivering javeling since April 2023 they're starting to sound like kim j, in the heat of the cold war weapon supplies to each other enemies was order of the day

Worst they can do is to provoke Russia so NATO can get involved that is their plan all along.
But ma dem go tire las las

So you forgot the part where the USA ran out of shells to supply Ukraine ? Eventhough the USA and all of NATO are supplying shells to Ukraine.
You seem to not understand that Russia is outproducing the entirety of NATO.
I don't know if Russia is expecting to get weapons delivery from north Korea, but if they do, it would actually be a good development. You can never have too much.

Its so funny some people see USA as the Almighty with unlimited resources.

1 I mean right in our eyes a New World is being formed and of course it won't be perfect in just day one but give it 5-10years USA sanctions will become almost useless.

2. USA itself are saying their conventional weapons are low so they resort to sending DU and cluster Bombs while they produce new one's but yet some people are still foaming in the mouth, to make matters worst NATO is useless without USA, so NATO IS USA.

3. Ukraine does not exist anymore literally all their support and military intelligence comes from USA, so yes they can score some good target, heck IRAN can do the same to USA even without Russia help, but despite all, this target has been in Crimea and not into a Russian directly... Why cant they use STORMSHAWDOW in Moscow if them no dey fear 😂

4.how well has the Ukraine Counteroffensive performed? despite the cluster ammo whats the result? Russia will soon start their own offensive let see how it goes, this war is already lost as USA cannot give Ukraine all they need but only few to provoke Russia.

In August, China did not sell gallium and germanium to the world market. China produces 95 percent of the world's gallium production and 68 percent of its germanium production.

Both elements are vital to the production of semiconductor chips.
Gallium is necessary for the production of modern radars with AFAR. If there is no gallium, there is no radar.

The resulting excess resources will be used by China to produce new 7nm chips and the world's most advanced radars in large quantities.

This is perhaps the biggest blow the US has received from China in the trade war they started 5-6 years ago.

The situation in Kosovo and Metohija is critical

At night, shooting was heard in Kosovo, the “Kosovo police” stated that one “policeman” was killed near Leposavic, and several more were wounded. The attackers, naturally, were Serbs from “criminal structures”.

It is reported that the brave “police” tried to stop two Serbian trucks with “contraband”, after which a shootout began.

According to some reports, shooting was heard in the morning.

The “President of Kosovo” claims that in the north of Kosovo there are “people in uniform and in armored vehicles”

KFOR has also activated and is occupying positions in the north of the region.

Checkpoints Jarinje and Brnjak are closed.

On the Mitrovica-Leposavić road there are a lot of militants and “peacekeepers” who check the few cars on the road.

The Serbs do not confirm the shooting, much less the killing of the “policeman.” Therefore, the Albanians will use these “incidents” for provocation in order to legalize the use of force and the presence of “special forces” and the “army” in the north of the region.

Let me remind you that the West and Türkiye are actively arming the militants. Yesterday their ranks were joined by 300 people, graduates of the “military academy.” If we remember that in October a Turkish general will lead KFOR, we can expect an armed conflict.
