Corolla 2010 always throws up check engine. When scanned it says system too Lean bank 1. My mechanic has cleaned nozzle, replaced plugs. Still the fault persists. Car working fine, the fault clears on its own and returns on its own at intervals.
Also my steering was loosened for alignment and VSC keeps flashing won't go off I guess the steering angle sensor needs calibration. How can I reset it.

Is it a mechanic or rewire that fixes vtec faults in honda?

The main issue i am having is that while on motion the vehicle jerks and once i take off my leg from the accelerator is stops jerking amd moves but the movement isnt smooth as i know a car's movement should be so i scanned after wasting money from trial and error mechanics.

Please help me out, is there an educated and sincere Engineer that i can take this car to that will just fix these issues without skinning me.

Good evening, please i have an issue with 2010 corolla .
Theres a single clunk noise when coming to a halt, when accelerating and when turning sometimes, also when going over bumps or driving through rough roads.
Kazeem has checked , I to have checked because I'm very good at DIy but I'm unable to find any play in the suspension.
I'm considering getting a second opinion because I don't like driving with strange noises.

I Just finished installing new piston rings on my engine.

I need a work through stages to follow.

After the fix the car idles for about 6hours. And alot of fuel bunts for ring siting.

But My mechanic told me not to fire the car and to drive it gently and change the oil one week time and i most not carry load or use the AC for now.

But from online search they talk about 500/1000 miles for break-in.

Some reports said 30mins is enough for ring to sit properly.

1 week for oil change seems too short for me for to me some a

You'll need a live data reading to know what's causing the lean code.
Same applies to your VSC. Scan and take readings to know what's off.

Good morning
My car idle rpm fluctuates. Sometimes too high and after driving for some minutes it will go down. And most times it will go so low while driving which makes d car to off sometime (most especially in traffic). Sometime it will be difficult for the car to restart because the battery will appear so weak to restart the car. I’ve changed battery and also work on the alternator when I was informed it was doing slow charging.
Whenever throttle body is cleaned it will get better for like 2 days and start misbehaving again.
Base on my rewire suggestion to stop the slow charging issue, I decided to change the throttle body yesterday but surprisingly the RPM has remained above 1 since and even this morning when I start the car it was so high almost getting to 2000rpm at idle. The mechanic guy told me that it will normalise with Time which I don’t know how long it will take.
Please what could be the next thing I will do to get a normal rpm?

But after picking up my car Nd driving for a while I noticed dat once I accelerate to d point of reaching d next gear, d car will just pull back and u will feel d backward push. Infact it can't go higher Dan gear 1. At first it was moving smoothly but I guess once d car was heated up it starts to act abnormally . It can't even reverse again. My mechanic said I shud bring it back . But I am scared of driving it back to d workshop so I don't cause more damage to d gear.

it can still be salvaged but not by that same mechanic that introduced dirt there. Sometimes, flushing that system repeatedly solves the problem as the dirt most times will be flushed out. This is if it was done on time before more damage is done.

D mechanic is saying d cause of this is probably low gear oil. Stating dat normally when u remove both shafts gear oil is meant to drop but in mine it didn't drop

2010 Camry (venza engine) does not have a dip stick.
How did you know it didn't drop?
Best way to check is to warm the car and check if the oil is at the hot level of the dip stick
