Dear Seun, build the Tech section using Radar dot Techcabal as a sample. The Tech start-ups sector is booming and we need something like radar dot Techcabal to serve the Nigerian/African Tech sector. 1 Like |

CandyOps:You just said the exact same thing I said yesterday. 1. Takes care of the pseudo-anonimity that makes so many say trash and think they can hide. 2. Takes care of the trolls and scammers as policing the platform becomes shared responsibility between the mods and us since the mods can't be everywhere. That report button is just waste of space. 4 Likes |

CandyOps: Seun. Don't agree with this. Do not implement this or the forum will lose so much active participation as most of what attracts people to this forum is the anonymous mode. This is the life of the forum. 4 Likes 1 Share |

ahnie:My supermods were reluctant, so I banned a ton of people myself. For hours and hours. But I couldn't sustain that indefinitely. It's like cleaning a house with multiple toddlers. As soon as you stop cleaning, the house will get dirty again. My supermods could not be persuaded to handle the spammers the way that I wanted them to. What has changed is that I am ready to bring in new people to do the job and if they fail I am ready to replace them as many times as necessary in order to find someone who will do it. The problems of Nairaland will always be on my mind due to my presence. Solutions will be found. But I need the assistance.of Nairalanders. I cannot do it alone. We need people who can be trusted with responsibilities such as the ending of name-checking on the crime section of Nairaland. 16 Likes 4 Shares |
