Yes, distract d people with mundane entertainment, away from critical issues, while d looting/pillaging of scarce resources continues unabated. No light in my area since November (Igando, Lagos) n d bills still come in. Businesses are shutting down cos they can't cope with d cost of diesel/pms, naira is tumbling down at speed never seen b4, CFA now has more value than d naira. Poverty has been weaponized against d people to d extent they now suffer from stockholm syndrome.
Give us light/uninterrupted electricity, even if thats d only thing u do for Nigerians

Within a short while they have been able setup viewing centres but cannot do anything to better the life of the citizens. Anybody that wants to watch ball always have where to watch it. So why spending money creating viewing centres.
