When will the army revenge over the killings of their colleagues in the north or are they afraid of northerners?
Why bring north into this? How could they murder Army personnel drafted to restore peace and you expect the Army not to retaliate? If your family member is part of the Army personnel killed, will you be happy with it?

People who cut more than 20 soldiers like suya are definitely prepared for anything that will come out. There are a lot of gun factories there and many youths there don’t have any job there so many armed. The last time they did arms mop up was during the amnesty program under Jonathan. They willingly surrendered because Jonathan is their own and used oronto Douglas and co to make them surrender arms. The number of youths carrying arms today there is now even more than when Jonathan brought peace then. Mobile and other multi nationals saw there was no hope and left, shell waited and saw who was announced as winner and packed their bags too… Imagine yourself as a Nigerian soldier in a 100 battalion of other’s soldiers walk into an ambush in the creek of 250 boys armed with guns. Do you think you are coming out alive that day? No you will witness your own death hours before you die

So, it makes sense to count scores with the lives of innocent soldiers on National duty?

Who is this OP trying to force the media awash because of the sad incident?

Why has there not been audacity with all the killings of the army in the north?

Peeps, dont mind these guys. This is what is called "currying favour". They are trying to stand the moral high ground. They are trying to build enough heaps of sentiment before executing an onslaught on the innocent villagers.

Dont fall for it. They want your moral tacit support. Dont give it to them.

The killing of soldiers is bad enough. But let them find the direct culprits. Let them leave the innocents alone. I know why Im saying this. We are in the media world now. If there was no internet like the days of old, they will just start burning anyhow. Now they're trying to learn how to use the media to their advantage. Dont fall for it.

Please people have died no need for that comparison. Also communities don’t just stand up and kill soldiers in the north . Terrorists and kidnappers do . There is a difference . If it is found out that the community really did that , then the culprits and ALL their supporters should be shot dead !

The Army should just calm down, and not attack innocent citizens living in the affected communities ... I am not in doubt that it's the Cocaine crack heads in speed boats that carry out this operation... What's need is intelligence gathering to know which group did this.

I have been asking the same question and some idiots are here talking arrant nonsense. People wonder why nobody believes or trusts the terrorists in military uniform. How can they be selective in their outrage?

Continue to encourage and defend rubbish. What do you gain justifying the killings of Nigerian Army personnel on peace mission?

The soldiers' death is terrible. Hope innocent Nigerians won't be killed in retaliation.
Unfortunately, that's what's will happen, I remember the Odi, Bayelsa State incident very well. The entire community was flattened by the soldiers.....the real culprits usually escape before the reprisals sad angry angry angry angry

Give up who? Is it how the north gave up boko haram members and bandits?

Double standard because it happened in the south.
The army should and catch them, leave innocent citizens alone.

The same Kaduna State is where repentant bokoharam turned bandits kidnapped scores of school children undetected by the military.
The audacity.

But delta youths really had the audacity to massacre soldiers on peace mission.

This is why people should not tolerate and support criminals in their domain, they will later turn to monsters and bring unimaginable disaster to all and sundry, No development will come to such place as well

Rest in peace to our gallant soldiers and officers.
They were killed in error, it is a case of mistaken identity........ grin grin

The people of that locality where soldiers were killed were attacked by ijaws and suffered casualties, mind you when the ijaws carried out the dastardly act they wore army uniforms........ grin grin grin grin

So within same week on sighting men in uniform again they believed it were the same ijaws again and retaliated, killing all of them not knowing that they are real soldiers........ grin grin grin grin

These days it is hard to differentiate a real from a fake soldier because both abound everywhere especially in the North.......it is on these that defense headquarters should post "the Audacity".........and not on unarmed innocent civilians.......... grin grin grin grin

Though the Nigerian Army right now are paper tigers and have failed on many fronts......RIP to the galant soldiers.............. grin grin grin grin grin

Nigerian is not worth dying for.......if you don't believe me or you think you love Nigeria the most run quickly to sambisa forest and fight for Nigeria against Boko Haram....... grin grin grin

That place is even creeks, you cannot drive tanks or apcs there, it is boat matter. Heavy equipment no fit reach there. What will likely happen is that aerial recon will be done, their likely bases identified, followed by airstrikes, raids by helicopter gunships.
Anyway, civilians around that zone will be adviced to take cover, as in collateral damage is possible.

When did that happen and what is the village name?
Note, there is no village called "the North".

If you are referring to bandits, they have no village, they are nomadic raiders who resides in the forest.
Even at that, there was a recent revenge drone strike on a Kaduna village.
is it how army settle land disputes in the North? They should come clean and tell us what happened, Why they went there, those soldiers that went there are they from their? Or they went there to oppress innocent civilians? We need to know.

These and many more questions that should be answered by the army.

The fight the soldiers went to quell is in a community . The soldiers died in the hands of some people in that community. They better hand over all of them or mention their names or they will be partakers of what is to come
