@OP with 500k you want to invest in a business and wait for a job? If you want to start a business with 500k please don't think of looking for another job otherwise you'll not fully focus on your business.

Like someone already said, what you need to do is to consolidate on the skill that enabled you save up to that amount during your service year. You'll need to polish that skill and make more marketable and professional etc...

That is what many of u don't understand,land appreciates in nigeria on a monthly basis.if he buys a plot of land for 250k by the end of the second month he can sell it for 300 to 350k depending on the location

@Op, invest in any business you know you can monitor i.e the one that relate to your skill.
i learn computer and work in several business centre and cafes, but now i own my own shop and still studying computer science in the university (200L), so with my skill i can monitor my business well.
