Hi everyone,

I'm starting this thread for women who have gone through miscarriages or still birth, who are looking for alternative ways of putting a stop to this painful experience, or those who have overcome miscarriage.


In our culture or even in some foreign country, it is believe that for a woman to have gone through one or more miscarriage she must have gone through series of abortion.

Its also believe that someone somewhere does not want you to have children of your own, which is not always the case.

So if you are going through miscarriage come in let's help one another.

Also you might be heavily pregnant and have successfully gone past the stage of miscarriage, or have given birth after a miscarriage please come in and share with us what you did differently, it could be of help to someone.

Let's support one another, with ideals of what we did differently, until we get our heart desires.

Nice thread. I lost my pregnancy to preterm. It was very hard for me but right now am back ttc

@callola u are welcome, I have also gone through it. Is sometime u smile about. I pray that God visit u very soon. Pls if u don't mind did ur doc or hospital tell u d cause of d miscarriage? It is well my sister.

I had in mind of starting this exact thread. To give people hope that there is always an end to every challenge of life.
Miscarriage is sometimes something you and your doc may not have control over except God. The only remedy docs can provide is mosttimes to advise for strict bed rest, pelvic rest, progesterone supplement and babyaspirin. But i can cayegorical say these dont work if thats not d root cause. Remedy to miscarriage is to find d root cause, if you hv done all d necessary examinations and nothing is found, my people its only God. Again there are some local causes of miscarriage that your doc may not agreed to but my sis it's real, those herbal dealers sometimes provide d help that docs cannot. Its well i have been there severally before now. I give God the glory for fighting d battle for me, so shall HE see all thru who have gone thru it or is still battling it.

Udoka u are right. Doc sometime know they don't know the cause of the reason for the miscarriage but kept wasteing your time & money. When I had a miscarriage, doc kept sending to do defferent test, till I got tired.

This time I just stop taking Cyclogest and progynova, cause I'm tired.

@nice 14 thanks for this thread. Miscarriage is one of the difficult and depressing thing I would never wish anyone. It all started like play but after it, I almost turn to something else. The most frustrating statement from the doctor is " we don't know why it happens", "we can't do anything to stop it". It leaves fear in your mind that even if you are pregnant again, you keep asking so many question cos you r afraid of any strange sign. God is the only one to trust when it comes to pregnancy. May God see us thru and put an end to all those trying time.

My dear, my story is long. D worst part is dat our family doc could not xplain wot happened. Assuming d hospital is well equip, my babe would be alive today. On d nyt i put to birth d staff told us that they will put off d lyt by 11pm. Dh have to buy diesel for their incubator. My dear, its a long story but i have vow nt to go to that hospital again

Miscarriage Ȋ̝̊̅§ something i dnt pray ƒσя my enemy to experience,av had it twice †ђξ 1st one was b4 i had my son i had †ђξ miscarriage wen †ђξ pregnancy was ƒσur mnth.i was told †ђξ pregnancy dint form properly den i ttc for more dan a year after †ђξ mc b4 i got pregnant again A̶̲̥̅̊₪d̶̲̥̅̊ i gave birth to my son with no complication watsoeva.den after my son's 1st birthday i got pregnant again but miscarried it at 8wksa. †ђξ doc had no explanation for it. I got pregnant again 2mth afta †ђξ mc A̶̲̥̅̊₪d̶̲̥̅̊ am 13wks gone N̶̲̥̅̊o̲̣̥w̶̲̥̅̊.av done scan 2tyms N̶̲̥̅̊o̲̣̥w̶̲̥̅̊ A̶̲̥̅̊₪d̶̲̥̅̊ my baby Ȋ̝̊̅§ doing fine. I pray to God to protect M̶̲̅ε̲̣̣̣̥ A̶̲̥̅̊₪d̶̲̥̅̊ my baby,i will carry it to term IJN. So mc Ȋ̝̊̅§ not †ђξ end of †ђξ world U̶̲̥̅̊ can always av a healthy baby afterwards. God bless

Tbaby I'm here oo my sister since last week i have been seeing tinny clot of brown discharge mist with d brown discharge wen taking my bath in d morning ,don't know what it mean. Finger cross for Saturday US. I'm just tired don't know what to think or do anymore, don't know why my own had to be this way, it's really painful. @favorgal how are u? Op the cramping has stop. @udoka so happy for u, enjoy ur pregnancy.@chestnut u will not go through such again.

@ nice 14 please take it easy.... I can understand how you feel but we need to take things easy oooo. Do u stress yourself in anyway? I think it's still better wen it's brown. Nothing can stop God's work. He has done it and He will see us thru. Hope you don't drink hot tea or water? Those are the things my mil ask me to watch oooo though I still see it but I think we need to listen to our body. May God see us thru, we will carry this one to term by His grace. (((((( Hugs)))))).

@tbaby I drink hot tea o, in fact it's d only thing dat does not smell bad in my nose. I don't stress o, I haven't bed since I got my bfp. U can imagine the mental stress I'm going through now. I stop taking cyclogest because during my first preggi I took it till 12wks but I still lost it at 16wks. So my sister I'm begging God to have Marcy on me, I can't imagine what will be of me if my testimony is cut shot this time. Hope u are fine? Stay stronge

Gud evenin all. Pls i seriously need help! I recently had a miscarriage nd it's the third time am experiencing it, pls what can i do to stop this urgly thing from repeating itself?

Sorry dear. What tests hv u done so far? Where u on progesterone supplement and it still happened? If the cause is hormonal, ur doc will place u on progesterone or baby aspirin. In some case it could be stress which is solved by strict bed and pelvic rest. Another question is at what stage does d mc occur; a 2nd trimester mc could be as a result of cerivcal incompetence. Infection also causes mc at any stage. If none of d above is d case, my sister you could meet good traditional midwives, they wl check you and proffer right herb for it.
Above all, bear in mind that this is a battle you must win. I had 5 medically confirmed MCs but today am 28weeks pg to d glory of God. If it can happen for me it wl happen for u too!

am so hapi 4 u. Hv done ultra-sound and Dr said am ok, the only problem i hv is having serious pain down the abdomen each time i take in. The misc usually occur during the first trimester.

I had a miscarriage after my 1st baby clocked 2yrs, it was 8wks old, it started like a joke one evening with spotting i went to d Dr immediately and was told to do an US, we saw d heartbeat and everyting looked ok and the spotting stopped, few days later it returned with pains at my lower belly, we rushed to d DR again and he asked to do anoda US and also do a progesterone test. The US showed no heart beat anymore and it was confirmed dead and i needed to do an evacuation immediately, it was done d following day. I blve the cause of the MC was just stress, both physical and emotional stress. It was very hard to get over it tho but am glad i have taken in again almost 5mths now. These are few things i did in my 1st trimester dat helped me pull thru; I drank lots of water, rested very well, put all fears and worries behind me, above all prayer and anointing urself and ur belly constantly.

ultrascan cannot detect the cause of a miscarriage. There are lots of tests which if you check my previous post you will find. I did those checkings anyway and nothing was found wrong. Mine was more of spiritual/traditional than medical. But do progesterone test immediately you conceive again.

Am so sorry abt ur loss @ Kaynee. After finishing the antibiotics i was given from the hospital i started taking 'pregnacare pre-conception', and waited for 2 full cycles bfor having unprotected sex, i found out i was pregnant the following month. U'll be just fine just be positive. Good luck!
